Hola gente HIVE, un lunes más para la costura con @needlworkmonday, mi agradecimiento con ustedes y con esta comunidad que tanto apoyo y cariño nos da. La pieza de hoy es un vestido de cuello convertible, bastante fácil de hacer, vamos manos a la obra.
Hello HIVE people, another Monday for sewing with @needlworkmonday, thanks to you and this community that gives us so much support and love. Today's piece is a convertible neck dress, quite easy to make, let's get to work.
Para el vestido cuello multiuso necesitas: aguja, hilo, tijeras y tela elástica, yo use menos de metro por mis medidas, según el patrón que consigues en la imagen podrás sacar la cantidad necesaria para ti. Acá consigues el patrón delantero y trasero, yo los uní para cortar la tela, así la costura de unión es una sola en la espalda.
For the multipurpose neck dress you need: needle, thread, scissors and elastic fabric, I used less than a meter because of my measurements, according to the pattern you get in the picture you can get the amount needed for you. Here you get the front and back pattern, I joined them to cut the fabric, so the seam is one in the back.
Recuerda que al ser una tela con elasticidad debes cortar 3cm menos de las medidas del patrón para que quede ajustado, pueden ser 5cm dependiendo de la tela.Remember that as it is a fabric with elasticity you must cut 3cm less than the measures of the pattern to make it fit, it can be 5cm depending on the fabric.
Una vez unida las piezas del vestido solo queda coser los extremos como los de la espalda, el ruedo y nuestro protagonista: el cuello, yo use una costura decorativa para darle mayor vistosidad a los detalles en las costuras visibles. Para sujetar el cuello necesitas una banda o cinta de la tela con la medida doble del cuello más 10cm.
Once the pieces of the dress are joined, now sew the edges of the back, the hem and our protagonist: the neck. I used a decorative seam to make the details in the visible seams more attractive. To hold the neck you need a band or ribbon of the fabric with the double measure of the neck plus 10cm
Ahora pasas esa banda dentro los espacios libres de los hombros del vestido, asegura los extremos de la cinta con un nudo o alguna pieza de bisutería. Ya tienes listo tu vestido ajustable en el cuello, esa cinta puede ir al frente o detrás, también puedes usarlo con chaquetas o camisas para elevar tu atuendo, la creatividad es libre y la vestimenta es para expresarse.
Now you pass that band into the shoulder gaps of the dress, secure the ends of the band with a knot or some piece of jewelry. Now you have your adjustable neck dress ready, that band can go to the front or back, you can also use it with jackets or shirts to elevate your look, creativity is free and clothing is for expressing yourself.
