I don't remember the last time I was away from Hive/Steemit for a week.
One week ago I brought my computer to a repair service, I set up a 9 years old computer, picked my computer up on a rainy cold day without public transport due to the strike, kindergarten strike came on the next day, cooking soup to serve on market ........... plus housework, work and so on 😱
Through out the hard days, my socks grew. I guess I had some stress and released the stress by knitting in the late night time listening to radio programs. I think also the yarn made me knit further. I want to see the next color and couldn't stop knitting.
One week ago it was just a ball:

Hahaha. It'll be done this week. Then I have a request from my daughter. She wants to have the same one with the left over yarn. It should be enough. So I'll knit first kids' size wool socks 😁🧶🧦

先週はなんともハードな一週間で、Hiveでほとんど書かずに過ごしてしまいました。
先週の今日、コンピューターを街の修理屋さんに持っていき、9年前の古いコンピューターをセットアップ。コンピューターが思いのほか早く修理から帰ってきたのはよかったものの、受け取り当日は寒い雨の日でさらに公共交通がストライキでストップ、雨の中歩いて街中まで往復しました。そしてなんと翌日には幼稚園がストライキ。幼稚園のストライキの通日は前日の夕方で、てんやわんやでした。週末にはマーケットでスープを出して・・・この上に通常の家事と仕事があり、久しぶりにへとへとになりました。
そんな中でも1週間前に買ったカラフルな靴下用毛糸で作っている靴下は順調に完成に近づいています。多分、靴下を編んでストレスを解消していたのでしょう。夜な夜なラジオを聴きながらもりもり編んでいました。秋ですね。。。あと、この毛糸はどんどん編ませる毛糸で、次の色を見たい、次の模様を見たい！と編むのをやめられないのです😅
足の靴下は今週中に完成しそうです。靴下を編んでいるのを見て子供が残り糸で自分のも編んで欲しいというので、次は子供の毛糸の靴下に初挑戦しようと思っています。

In my view it should be forbidden that you knit so fast :-DDDD HOw can you finish a pair of socks in one week???? I think now I will send you all my lonely socks which are silently singing in a dark box awaiting their partners...
Scherz beiseite... your socks are wonderful, I love the color change and understand your wish to see the next color and I admire your neat stitches (mine are still more irregular... )

One secret: I knitted the second one a bit tightly ..... 😱 Never mind. It should be fine after blocking (hopefully)!
It was my top speed. I also didn't think that I cannot finish it that quickly. Sometimes I need a whole winter to finish a pair. Probably all the stress I had boosted my speed 😅 I think you don't have to wear same socks. You can combine lonely ones!
Urgs... stress does not sound too good, I hope there will be some time to relax soon. And I know the problem of changing tension... no fun.
But the lonely sock thing, very problematic, these socks are so differently, some very warm, other are for my husband. I fear I should knit the second one, to use them.

Knitting, sewing ... needle work helps me a lot to go through stresses and dark cold winter :) I don't know but I feel like I'm visiting a colorful Latin American country such as Chile when I see the colors.

Winter is just knocking at the door. its a good looking and colour combination shock which is pretty awesome. I shall search for such in the market and hopefully will not get because its one piece that's yours.
I think you can find it. In Germany, several brands produce this type of yarn :)
Hand knit socks are the best thing for winter comfort! You can never have too many.
Exactly. I wonder why it's not common in Japan. I cannot live without hand knit wool socks in winter anymore 😁
わあお！！もう例の毛糸でこの靴下をここまで編んだのですか？ステキ〜。編み物が得意な方は一度構図や設定が決まるとそこからがものすごく早いイメージです。手の技術って本当に素晴らしいです。
この速さは人生で初めてです。よっぽどストレスがたまっていたのかな😅Life style socksというパターンだと、どんな毛糸でも靴下を作れて、多分一生冬の自分の靴下は自分で編むと思います。
