Today I want to tell you that I was knitting another set of coasters, and this time I wanted to give them a different touch. I decided to combine colors, so I chose to work with double strands. I took the red and green balls of crochet yarn, joined them together, and began knitting, without imagining how much I would enjoy the result. As the rounds progressed, the effect became more beautiful.
The texture turned out special, with a firmness that gives the coasters presence. I love how they feel in my hands and how each stitch and each row reveals a design that reflects the joy of this season.
This model was well received at the library exhibition. It was one of the ones that sold quickly and also one of the ones that generated the most orders.

Hoy quiero contarles que estuve tejiendo otro juego de posavasos y esta vez quise darles un toque distinto. Me animé a combinar colores y por eso decidí trabajarlos a doble hebra. Tomé el ovillo rojo y el verde de hilo crochet, los uní y comencé a tejer, sin imaginar lo mucho que iba a disfrutar el resultado. A medida que avanzaban las vueltas, el efecto se volvía más bonito.
La textura quedó especial, con una firmeza que les da presencia a los posavasos. Me encanta cómo se sienten entre las manos y cómo en cada puntada y en cada vuelta se va revelando un diseño que refleja la alegría de esta temporada.
Este modelo tuvo buena acogida en la exposición de la biblioteca. Fue uno de los que se vendió rápidamente y también uno de los que más encargos generó.
Right now, I'm working on another color combination that I'll show you soon, because it's still in progress. I'm delighted with everything that has emerged in my knitting this Christmas. And the best part is knowing that there is an audience that values my work, that looks forward to new pieces, and that enjoys these pieces as much as I enjoy making them. Thank you for being here and for accompanying me on this journey full of threads, colors, and lots of knitting.
En este momento estoy trabajando en otra mezcla de colores que pronto les mostraré, porque todavía está en proceso. Estoy encantada con todo lo que ha ido surgiendo en mis tejidos en esta Navidad. Y lo más bonito es saber que hay un público que valora mi trabajo, que espera las novedades y que disfruta estas piezas tanto como yo disfruto hacerlas.
