Funda de flores bordadas para mi celular (SPA-ENG)

Saludos, queridos manualistas de las agujas y los hilos. Hoy estoy de vuelta por esta creativa comunidad para compartir un proyecto que comencé a principios de noviembre y que fui haciendo poco a poco porque no quería dejar de bordar.

He encontrado en esta práctica un momento para meditar, para reflexionar y para valorar, también, el momento presente, pues tengo que estar atenta a cada puntada, a cada cambio de hilo, a seguir el patrón que he dibujado. Así que estoy fascinada con haber retomado el bordado, por eso me verán, a menudo, por aquí.

Es un proyecto pequeño, pero muy útil y hermoso. Encontré esta fuente de inspiración en Instagram. Desde que lo vi me enamoré, quise hacerlo igual, pero me dejé llevar y fui bordando flores diferentes colores por toda el espacio. Además, encontré en la comunidad, este trabajo hermoso de @devyleona, le comenté en la publicación que yo estaba bordando una funda para mi celular. Así que la etiqueto y dejo mi publicación para que ella pueda ver mi trabajo terminado.

Esta funda bordada para el celular es una idea genial, sin embargo, creo que es importante encontrar la forma de cuidar algunos detalles con el corte del espacio que debemos dejar para que la cámara quede descubierta y rematar de una manera delicada los bordes.

Sin más demora, les cuento, a continuación el proceso de bordado de la funda para mi celular.

Greetings, dear needle and thread crafters. Today I am back in this creative community to share a project that I started at the beginning of November and that I have been doing little by little because I did not want to stop embroidering.

I have found in this practice a moment to meditate, to reflect and to value, also, the present moment, because I have to be attentive to each stitch, to each change of thread, to follow the pattern I have drawn. So I am fascinated to have taken up embroidery again, that's why you will often see me here.

It's a small project, but very useful and beautiful. I found this source of inspiration on Instagram. Since I saw it I fell in love, I wanted to do it the same, but I got carried away and I was embroidering flowers different colors all over the space. Also, I found in the community, this beautiful work by @devyleona, I commented to her in the post that I was embroidering a cover for my cell phone. So I tagged her and left my post so she could see my finished work.

This embroidered cell phone case is a great idea, however, I think it is important to find a way to take care of some details with the cut of the space we must leave for the camera to be uncovered and to finish off the edges in a delicate way.

Without further ado, here is the process of embroidering my cell phone case.

Lo primero que hice para elaborar la funda fue sacar mi celular del forro protector. La idea era perfecta para mí porque este forro es plástico transparente. Aunque, viéndolo bien, en un forro nuevo se debe ver mucho mejor. El mío tiene su tiempo y está manchado o quemado por el uso.

Dibujé el modelo de mi celular en una página para saber de qué tamaño cortaría el pedazo de tela, considerando, también, el espacio de la cámara, como dije arriba.

Luego corté y marqué en la tela que ya tenía prensada con el bastidor.

The first thing I did to make the case was to take my cell phone out of the protective cover. The idea was perfect for me because this case is transparent plastic. Although, looking at it, in a new case it should look much better. Mine has its time and is stained or burned by use.

I drew the model of my cell phone on a page to know what size I would cut the piece of fabric, considering, also, the space for the camera, as I said above.

Then I cut and marked on the fabric that I already had pressed with the frame.

Con la tela lista y el modelo plasmado en ella, me dispuse a dibujar las flores que iba a bordar, para esto me fijé bien en el diseño que había visto en Instagram. Hice flores parecidas, pero usé hilos de mis colores preferidos y los combiné para hacerlo diferente.

Así, di rienda suelta a mi creatividad y la funda para mi celular ya estaba quedando como yo quería. Para este diseño usé puntos básicos: puntadas largas y cortas, puntadas satén o de relleno, punto pespunte o punto atrás, punto cadeneta y punto margarita.

Como lo he dicho en muchas de mis publicaciones, amo las flores y este diseño con muchas de ellas me encantó.

With the fabric ready and the pattern on it, I started to draw the flowers I was going to embroider, for this I took a good look at the design I had seen on Instagram. I made similar flowers, but I used threads of my favorite colors and combined them to make it different.

So, I gave free rein to my creativity and my cell phone case was already looking the way I wanted it to. For this design I used basic stitches: long and short stitches, satin stitch, backstitch, chain stitch and daisy stitch.

As I have said in many of my posts, I love flowers and I loved this design with lots of them.

Cuando ya no tenía espacio para bordar más flores, di por terminada la funda para el celular. Ahora, tenía que ver lo que iba a hacer con los bordes del espacio para la cámara y los bordes de toda la funda.

Lo primero fue bordar todo el borde del espacio que corté para la cámara, no fue fácil y no quedó muy prolijo, pero así lo dejé. Estoy segura que en otro momento de mi vida, hubiera desechado todo el trabajo, pero en este momento, no me estoy exigiendo tanto, solo pienso en disfrutar de lo que estoy haciendo. Además, no pasa nada, la próxima vez quedará mejor, tampoco es que se ve tan mal.

Pienso que la tela que usé no es la más adecuada porque se deshilacha. Para evitar que los hilos siguieran saliendo, le puse pega blanca por todo el borde. De esta parte del proceso de elaboración de la funda no tomé fotos porque fue complicado, tenía las dos manos ocupadas y era muy difícil tomar fotografías.

When I didn't have room to embroider any more flowers, I finished the cell phone case. Now, I had to figure out what I was going to do with the edges of the camera space and the edges of the whole case.

The first thing was to embroider all the border of the space I cut for the camera, it wasn't easy and it wasn't very neat, but that's how I left it. I'm sure that in another moment of my life, I would have discarded all the work, but at this moment, I'm not demanding so much, I just think about enjoying what I'm doing. Besides, it's okay, next time it will look better, it doesn't look so bad either.

I think the fabric I used is not the most suitable because it frays. To keep the threads from continuing to come out, I put white glue all around the edge. I didn't take pictures of this part of the process of making the case because it was complicated, I had both hands busy and it was very difficult to take pictures.

Así quedó terminada la funda para mi celular. Me parece preciosa, colorida, florida... ¡me encanta!

This is how the case for my cell phone was finished. I think it's beautiful, colorful, flowery.... I love it!
