In this case the model was my sister, so this pants is not found on my Instagram page @Fire_rabbit.
The image corresponds to the Front of Pant mold.
Rear mold. In the case of the front, the measurement of the pockets is included, each size is differentiated by a color. I made size 42, but you have from size 36 to size 56. The measurements that are in ink do not change according to the size, but they will always be the same.
Cut mold. Remember to leave 1.0 cm above the fabric for the seam allowance.
Sewing moment, the first thing I did was sew the front with the back of the internal sides, as seen in the image, this I did with both parts.
When we have that ready, the next thing is to sew the shots, joining the front with the rear.
Now we put the pockets, as seen in the image, first I measured them, then I secured them and that is why I did not sew the outer sides of the pants first.
After sewing the pockets and closing the sides, we placed the waist, in this case, I did not reduce the fabric waist, because what I reduced was the elastic that it wears. Place the waist as follows, I sewed it already folded but leaving the joint open, in this way the elastic can be passed.
To measure the elastic and know how much we have to place, we must measure the entire waist, front plus rear and reduce the total by 25.0 cm, before cutting, measure it around your waist and check if it fits well, if so, you can cut, if not, measure until the elastic does not tighten but does hold. 25.0 cm is a standard measurement.
Finally, we only have the hem, in this case I only double it about 2.0 cm. Once they have that, they have finished making gym pants.
Very comfy facbric and an easy pattern maybe I will try it out without pockets
