Hace un par de meses leí un anuncio invitando a esta comunidad sobre nuestra participación en el "Hive fest". En ese momento pensaba ¿qué amigurumi diseñaría?, solo sabía que tenía que ser pequeño y que representase a la Cultura Peruana.

A couple of months ago I read an announcement inviting this community about our participation in the "Hive fest". At that time I was thinking 'what amigurumi would I design, I just knew it had to be small and represent the Peruvian Culture.

Luego de algunas semanas logré plasmar este dibujo, (como lo digo repetidas veces, cuando tengo el dibujo ya estoy en el 55% del diseño) aunque seguía pendiente lograr la textura de los ojos. En esta ocasión supe que el diseño demoraría por lo que descarté la idea de participar en el Hive Fest.

After a few weeks I managed to capture this drawing, (as I say repeatedly, when I have the drawing I am already 55% of the design) although the texture of the eyes was still pending. This time I knew that the design would take some time, so I discarded the idea of participating in the Hive Fest.

Un poco de historia / History

Leyendo la historia, este personaje fue inspirado en el dios de los Moche (cultura Mochica) "Ai apaec". Menciono este dato porque para mí fue de gran ayuda en cuanto a la originalidad del diseño. Me falta completar algunos detalles, los cuales lo verán en la próxima publicación.

Reading the story, this character was inspired by the god of the Moche (Mochica culture) "Ai apaec". I mention this fact because for me it was a great help in terms of the originality of the design. I still need to complete some details, which you will see in the next publication.

Efectivamente es un demonio, jaja. Por donde vivo, hay diversos murales de arte urbano con manifestaciones culturales. Allí no puede faltar este personaje en distintos estilos...algunos si son de temer (aparentemente, jaja). ¡Que sigan las buenas vibras!.

Hola Katty. Si, ya extrañaba tejer personajes culturales y mejor aún si se trata de una danza típica. Por cierto, hace un tiempo quise tejer amigurumi con las danzas típicas y no supe por donde empezar. En el departamento de Puno hay 23 danzas reconocidas. De todas maneras espero algún día tejerlos sola o en conjunto como un CAL o algo similar. ¡Que sigan las buenas vibras!.
