Hace poco adquirí estos hilos tan famosos en América latina. Sé que varios diseñadores de amigurumi trabajan con esta marca, por eso tengo curiosidad por probarlos. ¡Veamos un poco mas!.
I recently acquired these yarns so famous in Latin America. I know that several amigurumi designers work with this brand, so I'm curious to try them out, let's see some more!

Although this brand is from Chile, it distributes to several countries in America. It seems to me that 2 years ago it arrived in Peru. At the beginning I did not buy it mainly because of its high price (at least for me) compared to its competition (national market).
At the end of last year I decided to buy them to test their strength (washability, durability and stability), firmness (so that the strands don't come loose so much) and the crochet and size of the amigurumi. I want to compare it with the brand of yarn I've been crocheting with for years...To see how it works!.
Algunas diferencias
Gama de colores: Elegí estos colores porque no los he visto en otras marcas. Me alegró que en la etiqueta mencione el nombre del color. Por ejemplo yo tengo: Terracota, naranjo, beige arena, vison, café moro y burdeo. Digo que me alegro, porque por lo general yo les pongo nombre de los colores a los hilos (jaja).
Tipo de algodón: Aquí si no tengo idea qué variedad de algodón están utilizando, le falta este dato. Solo dice "Algodón Premium" y eso me parece que es un estándar de calidad mas no la variedad. Aquí si se manifestó mi lado agrónomo, jaja.
. Color range: I chose these colors because I haven't seen them in other brands. I was glad that the label mentions the name of the color. For example I have: Terracota, orange, sand beige, mink, brown and burgundy. I say I'm glad, because I usually name my yarns after the colors (jaja).
. Type of cotton: Here I have no idea what variety of cotton they are using, it lacks this information. It only says "Premium Cotton" and that seems to me to be a quality standard but not the variety. Here my agronomist side showed up, jaja.
- Precio: El paquete de 5 unidades vale 88.5 soles ( 23.6 dólares), es decir la unidad estaría unos 17.5 soles (4.7 dólares). Mientras la competencia tiene el paquete de 12 unidades a 96 soles (25.7 dólares), es decir la unidad estaría unos 8 soles ( 2.1 dólares). Ambos son de 100 gramos.
. Price: The pack of 5 units costs 23.6 USD, the unit would be about 4.7 USD. While the competition has a pack of 12 units at 25.7 USD, the unit would be about 2.1 USD. Both are 100 grams.

This wool is quite relatively expensive but you made a quality over quantity decision and I guess that's the best quality.
Hi, I just bought them to test their quality. In terms of quantity it is the same, both contain 100 grams. However, I usually buy in bulk to save money.

Hi Abena. At least it says on the label that they are 100% cotton, otherwise I wouldn't have bought them. I have in mind to crochet some characters somewhat known by children and young people of the 90's, to see how it looks.
Me encanta el color de estos hilos 😍 están hermosos. Sé por experiencia la alegría que nos da poder comprar aquello que tanto queríamos o necesitábamos para nuestros trabajos. Aunque la diferencia de precio es más del doble de seguro valió la pena 💟
Cada vez que pruebo una marca de hilo, no logra sustituir a mis hilos de confianza. Mas bien, los uso para diseños específicos, los cuales requieren texturas específicas (manopla, llaveros, cartucheras, mas llaveros, jaja). Oye, generalmente adquiero los hilos por gamma de colores o sino que combinen entre ellos.
Creo que hiciste una gran compra amiga!
