I didn't know you knit, that's great :) I hope these projects will be finished by Christmas, although the times for needlework are very strange... in a few hours you can go a long way and then leave the project abandoned for months.
And about your great-nephew, the kids never forget something you promised them (even if you did it), no matter how much time passes. Apparently at some point I promised my niece a doll's dress and I always forget it, every time she comes she reminds me. I've already given up hope that she'll forget it so I'm going to have to get down to business.

Woops!! You and I are in the same position!! But you are in a much better position as you are so talented with your needlework, I'm sure if you put aside a few hours when you're not travelling, you will get it done in no time.
Or maybe you can hope that your niece has gone off her doll and doesn't play with it anymore😄
Oh, she's only 8 years old so I think it's quite a while before she stops playing with dolls... I'd better have to make a place in my schedule.
