The simplest way to upcycle anything is really just to chop off a part of the garment you don’t like.
As I read this, I thought you were going to say “chop off a part you like” and was going to agree but it turned out it’s the opposite of how I am looking at the garment I’m chopping. I think of what I want, then cut that part out.
that upcycling doesn’t have to look as such.
I agree. I’m not fond of the patchwork approach.
Wonderful photos as always. I especially like the b&w photo of you, the angle it was shot.
Aha! I like that approach too (chop off what I like), I should try it next time! :)
Thank you, as always, really appreciate hearing that from you!!
(😊 I was running back and forth trying not to make it all fall into the river(me and the phone, lol) at least is was worth it)
I like your way too. I like seeing things from as many different perspectives as I can. I'm going to try your way next time. 😁
You're welcome! It's always a pleasure to read your posts, see your creativity in your photos and words, hear about what you're doing, and to chat with you. All the things I look for on Hive wrapped up together.
After I left you a comment, I started wondering how you took that shot. Now I know what pain you went through to get it. Definitely it was worth it.
I was actually thinking about it some more...
...and I think I will adapt your way, I am maybe too often knowing what I don't want, instead of taking/knowing what I do want. (same result but different approach)
...so that is me reflecting my life through sewing😅
💛💛💛Yes!!
That's so funny! Maybe like this...
We each try the other ways and then we can talk about what it was like. 😄
Really, they are the same, two sides of the same coin and it's a matter of what you want to see while standing on the coin edge, as it rolls, while not losing your balance. 😂
I love that.
