For some time now @ynwa.andree and I have been involved with the Bedburger Begegnungspark support association.
This association exists for about one year and has itself to the task made parts of the old hospital area in our municipality creatively with to develop (in addition I tell with opportunity gladly times something more).
For the autumn festival of the association on 16.10. I agreed to organize presents for the children.
On a tour through some historical buildings of the old hospital area the children can collect stamps on a card. For this card they get a small present at the end and as a topping a waffle voucher.
When we arrived home, i quickly started collecting ideas and trying them out.
Since I have a pronounced hoarding instinct in terms of craft and needlework materials, it was not difficult to find the necessary things in my closets.
It was crocheted, glued, snipped and in the end these little guys came out. Very cute as I thought. Also from the remaining members of the sponsoring association the pixies were approved. So I could go into massproduction.
Caps were glued, crocheted or sewn from all felt -, wool - and sock remnants (of course unworn). Beards made from wool. Also some wooden beads from the "necklace-craft-time" of my daughter I still had . These were used as noses ( different colors made the story more colorful ).
About 50 of these little pixies should be in the end.
A nice opportunity to process again some things that have been lying in the closets for ages and sometime in a fit of tidying mania probably would have ended up in the trash.

Seit einiger Zeit engagieren @ynwa.andree und ich uns für den Förderverein Bedburger Begegnungspark.
Dieser Verein besteht seit nun gut einem Jahr und hat sich zur Aufgabe gemacht Teile des alten Klinikgeländes in unserer Gemeinde kreativ mit zu entwickeln ( dazu erzähle ich bei Gelegenheit gerne mal etwas mehr ).
Für das Herbstfest des Fördervereins am 16.10. habe ich mich bereit erklärt Präsente für die Kinder zu organisieren.
Auf einer Besichtigungs– und Inforunde durch einige historische Gebäude des alten Klinikgeländes können die Kinder Stempel auf einer Karte sammeln. Für diese Karte bekommen sie am Ende ein kleines Geschenk und als Topping einen Waffelgutschein.
Zuhause angekommen ging es dann auch schnell ans Ideen sammeln und ausprobieren.
Da ich über einen ausgeprägten Hamstertrieb in Bezug auf Bastel– und Handarbeitsmaterial verfüge war es nicht schwer in meinen Schränken die nötigen Dinge zu finden.
Es wurde gehäkelt, geklebt, geschnippelt und am Ende kamen diese kleinen Kerlchen dabei heraus. Sehr süß wie ich fand. Auch von den restlichen Mitgliedern des Fördervereins wurden die Wichtel abgesegnet. So konnte ich in Produktion gehen.
Mützen wurden aus sämtlichen Filz -, Woll – und Sockenresten ( natürlich ungetragen) geklebt, gehäkelt oder genäht. Bärte aus Wolle gefertigt. Auch einige Holzperlen aus der "Ketten-bastel-Zeit" meiner Tochter hatte ich noch . Diese wurden als Nasen verwendet ( Verschiedene Farben machten die Geschichte bunter ).
Ca. 50 dieser kleinen Wichtel sollten es am Ende werden.
Eine schöne Gelegenheit mal wieder einige Dinge zu verarbeiten die schon ewig in den Schränken liegen und irgendwann in einem Anflug von Aufräumwahn wahrscheinlich im Müll gelandet wären.
