Changing the shape of a swim skirt

in NeedleWorkMonday3 years ago

Good Monday to all our creative community!!! I hope this week has been productive for you and that you are doing well!
I am sure that you, dear craftswomen, while working on a large project, are simultaneously working on several small ones. So I do too. My knitting of a white sweater continues.

I use my favorite cardigan as a pattern and refer to it as I knit. At the same time as I wrote, I received my shopping package. Among them is a swim skirt.

I haven't used a swim skirt yet. I used to have a swim scarf, but it's retired. 😁 The skirt has the shape of a trapezoid.

I don't really like this shape so I decided to change it a bit. I wanted to pick up the fabric on the sides so that the skirt sat more tightly on the figure.

I was wondering what I would end up with. It turned out like this!

This form is much more convenient for me. I even managed to swim in this skirt and it was very comfortable for me. I'm glad I came up with this idea! 😃
What are you working on now? Do you have small craft projects?
(all photos are taken by me)

Take care of yourself and be healthy!

The ruched shape is very flattering! 😍

I'm glad you liked it that way too. in this form, the skirt lies better on the hips

Really nice, dear @tali72 ! :-D

Many thanks!!!! 😀

Picking up the skirt is a good thing to do... That's the new style in vogue.
Picking make outfits and pick it up at different locations to Make them unique, I like how creative you get at redesigning your cloths.
Well done dearie.

thank you very much my dear! I like clothes that are comfortable, even if it's just a bathing skirt
