Hola amigos de la costura espero que se encuentren muy bien el día de hoy, yo ya estoy de vacaciones de mis estudios así que tengo más tiempo para armar mis proyectos de costura 😊 esto me hace feliz, y como el verano está a la vuelta de la esquina quiero hacer algunas blusas y tops para usar los días de calor y volví a revisar mi caja de retazos y encontré telas lindas que quiero usar, también una tela de tul reciclada de una prenda que mi hermana me dio y pensé en combinar telas.
Hello sewing friends I hope you are very well today, I am already on vacation from my studies so I have more time to put together my sewing projects 😊 this makes me happy, and since summer is just around the corner the corner I want to make some blouses and tops to wear on hot days and I went back through my scrap box and found some cute fabrics that I want to use, also a recycled tulle fabric from a garment my sister gave me and I thought about combining fabrics.
La tela negra se trata de un morley sobrante de un proyecto de la facultad, quedo en mi caja para darle uso en algún momento y en cierta forma ese momento ya llego, aún quedan trozos de esta tela para usar y creo que hare otra blusa, pero con un patrón diferente, para este top use un patrón que tengo solo alargue un poco más el largo.
The black fabric is a morley left over from a college project, it's left in my box to use it at some point and in a way that moment has come, there are still pieces of this fabric to use and I think I'll make another blouse, but with a different pattern, for this top I used a pattern that I have just lengthened the length a little more.
Para el delantero también corte una pieza de tul para que vaya por encima y así tenga el frente con la tela estampada, quería usar esta tela hace un tiempo, pero no sabía en que proyecto y justo me ilumine y todo funciono.
For the front I also cut a piece of tulle to go on top and have the front with the printed fabric, I wanted to use this fabric for a while, but I didn't know what project and I just enlightened myself and everything worked.
Para coser esto primero cosí el escote así podía dar vuelta la tela de flores y que eso quede listo, aunque al dar la vuelta se me ocurrió que sería mejor pisar esa costura, utilice mi maquina overlook para unir y la maquina recta en zic zac para pisa la costura, eso hace que no quede tan plana, pero es un top informal así que eso no era problema ya que me di cuenta de que no tengo más elástico partido.
To sew this first I sewed the neckline so I could turn the flower fabric over and that was done, although when I turned it over it occurred to me that it would be better to step on that seam, I used my overlook machine to join and the straight machine in zic zac to step on the seam, that makes it not so flat, but it is a casual top so that was not a problem since I realized that I don't have any more split elastic.
Uní frente y espalda también con overlook, pero tenía que sostener las 3 telas juntas, para la espalda también hice un pequeño doblez para dar terminación a la parte recta, utilice el truco de siempre de doblar dos veces y coser con overlook, realmente amo este truco me soluciona muchas terminaciones en tela de punto.
I joined front and back also with overlook, but I had to hold the 3 fabrics together, for the back I also made a small fold to finish the straight part, I used the usual trick of folding twice and sewing with overlook, I really love this trick solves many ends in knitted fabric.
Con la misma tela de morley corte una tira que hará de breteles, no la corte muy larga para que los breteles no queden largos después ya que el morley se estira muy fácilmente y no quiero que pronto haya que corregir esto.
With the same morley fabric, cut a strip that will be used as straps. Do not cut it too long so that the straps are not long later, since the morley stretches very easily and I do not want this to have to be corrected soon.
Y para finalizar el top cosí las tiras con costura zic zac y ahora está listo para el verano 😊 pero esas no fueron mis únicas costuras de la semana.
And to finish the top I sewed the straps with a zic zac seam and now it's ready for summer 😊 but those weren't my only seams of the week.
Me di cuenta que algunas de mis gomas para el pelo estaban estiradas pero que aún servían a que fui a mi caja de retazos busqué una tela linda e hice unas scrunchies, para esto revise en internet cual era la medida aproximada para que se genere bien el frunce y es aproximadamente de 40 cm como mínimo así que tenía para hacer varias.
I realized that some of my hair ties were stretched but that they were still useful so I went to my scrap box and looked for a nice fabric and made some scrunchies, for this I checked on the internet what the approximate measurement was so that the it gathers and it is approximately 40 cm at least so I had to make several.
Yo genere rectángulos de unos 45 cm de largo y 8 cm de ancho, y realmente son muy fáciles de hacer, aunque no logro esconder muy bien la costura de costado, primero cosí con zic zac di la vuelta cosí son recta, metí el elástico y cerré, es bastante fácil de hacer y el resultado es lindo, esta tela rosa me gusta muchísimo y tenía bastante ganas de usarla, tengo ganas de hacer más scrunchies con mucho mas frunce para que sean un gran accesorio, aunque mi cabello esta algo corto para eso ya crecerá y serán muy utilizadas.

Estoy intentando utilizar las telas sobrantes de mi caja de sobrantes, tengo muchas telas, pero al ser de géneros diferentes es difícil hacer patchwork con ellas, estoy aún buscando soluciones para ellas, no creo que tirarlas sea la solución, y no hay lugares donde pueda donarlas ya que son muy pequeñas para eso, y creo que podría darles un uso, pero aún estoy pensando en ello.
I am trying to use the leftover fabrics from my scrap box, I have many fabrics, but being of different genres it is difficult to patchwork with them, I am still looking for solutions for them, I don't think throwing them away is the solution, and there are no places where I can donate them as they are too small for that, and I think I could put them to use, but I'm still thinking about it.
