MyPictureDay Challenge Round #3 - Ride to Bangalore!!

in My Picture Day5 years ago

This is my entry to the "MyPictureDay Photography Contest" run by @timsaid and sponsored by @blocktrades and @theycallmedan..

I love travelling by motorcycle.. This machine is an expression of untamed, adventurous instinct of a true living being and this goes without any argument..

If anyone tells you otherwise, ask them to ride.. I rode this machine from Mangalore to Bangalore few months ago.. Had an amazing ride and it was very comfortable too.. Long distance riding is a sense of freedom and is better than many other forms of motorbiking..

Well, it's always an unknown adventure while venturing out for long distance rides.. So I always stop by when I find a nice view and click some memories using my Nikon D750 or sometimes even my Nikon D5..

I always use a saddle bag to carry my luggage and keep it well tied on the rear seat..

It did rain that day but luckily I was having the rain cover for the bag and hence didn't face any issues..

I always prefer riding safe by using all my safety gears and maintaining speed limits.. And I also prefer avoiding night rides.. Mangalore to Bangalore is a good 350 odd kms and I take about 8-9 hrs to ride with sufficient break time.. And I have a good phone holder to use google maps..

Just 50 kms before Bangalore I always make it a point to stop by Cafe Coffee Day for a refreshment.. I normally prefer coffee but since it was a hot day, i went for a cold refreshment..

It always is nice to sit and observe this machine from far and admire its beauty..

The ride was fun and I got some beautiful pictures during my ride.. Kept the best for the last.. Found this beautiful church and was allowed to click a picture with my motorbike.. Here it is..
