During these invitations as Cosplayer and Jury a lot of exciting things happen, but it had never happened to me that a company like Movilnet-E had this kind of special details with me, definitely things have changed a lot since the beginning of my hiatus in 2017 ✦
¿Has asistido antes al "After Party" de un evento manganime y k-pop?, ¿no?, ¡yo tampoco!, esta fué mi primera vez y aunque al inicio no estaba convencida, puedo decirles que la experiencia supero mis expectativas: Buena música ambiental, recinto ameno, caras conocidas, lugares para fotografías, concursos de baile, conciertos, y hasta la presencia de una empresa muy importante 🎮 💛
Have you ever been to the "After Party" of a manganime and k-pop event before, haven't you? Neither have I,** ** this was my first time and although I was not convinced at the beginning, I can tell you that the experience exceeded my expectations: good music, a pleasant venue, familiar faces, photo opportunities, dance contests, concerts, and even the presence of a very important company 🎮 💛
✦ It was Sunday and as Venezuela always surprises us, an electrical system failure damaged my air conditioning that week, so an artist neighbor lent me a little piece of his atelier to get ready. After that we looked for @Pigritia to go to the salon, we had an interview scheduled at 1pm ✦
No sé si el termino exista y si no pues lo vamos a inventar now, pero me considero una "extrovertida selectiva", lo que significa que no en todo tipo de eventos o reuniones sociales me siento cómoda.
I don't know if the term exists and if not, we are going to invent it now, but I consider myself a "selective extrovert", which means that **not in all types of events or social gatherings I feel comfortable.

Pero este caso es especial, la organización TOEV me obsequió una entrada con un valor de 100$ (a mí y a todos los Cosplayer Invitados 💖) y la reunión prometía un meeting especial con los artistas internacionales Cesar Franco (TE AMAMOS CESAR) y Mauren Mendo (es la primera vez que lo escucharía en persona, ya que el concierto del durante la convención me lo perdí 😅).
But this case is special, the TOEV organization gave me a ticket worth 100$ (to me and all Guest Cosplayers 💖) and the meeting promised a special meeting with international artists Cesar Franco (TE AMAMOS CESAR) and Mauren Mendo (it's the first time I would hear it in person, since I missed the concert during the convention 😅)

El lugar del meeting era un salón mucho más pequeño que un salón de convenciones regular, eso me gustó mucho. Tenía muchos asientos, islas con consolas de videojuegos y un área de fotografía con todos los personajes de Tomodachi Family (nuevas ilustraciones temáticas exclusivas de la edición Bunkasai).
The meeting venue was a much smaller ballroom than a regular convention hall, which I liked a lot. It had plenty of seating, islands with video game consoles and a photo area with all the Tomodachi Family characters (new themed artwork exclusive to the Bunkasai edition).
✦ For this day CapnandoCosplay was of Sasuke and Orochimaru respectively, we all went crazy for them, they are simply fantastic and Nando (Orochimaru) personifies the character especially well ✦
No estoy especialmente versada con el mundo del K-Pop pero si me gusta muchísimo escucharlo (se agradecen recomendaciones en los comentarios, yas), llegué a seguir varios grupos a partir de la segunda generación, pero en ese tiempo estaba muy concentrada en la universidad y en prepararme para competir en concursos de Cosplay, lo que implicaba largos periodos de tiempo trabajando en proyectos (trajes/performance).
I'm not particularly versed with the world of K-Pop but I really like listening to it (recommendations in the comments are appreciated, yas), I got to follow several groups from the second generation onwards, but at that time I was very focused on college and preparing to compete in Cosplay contests, which involved long periods of time working on projects (costumes/performance).

Pero volviendo brevemente al tema de los lugares lindos para fotografía, lamentablemente el calor era tan apoteósico que literal todos los Cosplayers nos estábamos derritiendo, así que la improvisada sesión de fotos tuvo que cancelarse. Sin embargo volvimos al salón justo a tiempo para ver a los grupos bailar (ESA PARTE FUE AMAZING, todos los Cosplayers estábamos impactados por el talento de todos y cada uno de los grupos y solistas que se presentaron).
But back briefly to the topic of nice places for photography, unfortunately the heat was so apotheosis that literally all of us Cosplayers were melting, so the impromptu photo session had to be cancelled. However we got back to the hall just in time to see the groups dance (THAT PART WAS AMAZING, all of us Cosplayers were blown away by the talent of each and every one of the groups and soloists that performed).

Todos los personajes de TOEV estaban hermosamente uniformados, es muy bonito verlos moverse en grupo. Capnando, Larita y yo pudimos pasar un momento muy agradable porque no es lo mismo asistir en Cosplay a un evento concurrido donde nos dedicamos al público, a una celebración más tranquila con un número limitado de asistentes.
All the TOEV characters were beautifully uniformed, it is very nice to see them moving in a group. Capnando, Larita and I were able to have a very nice time because it is not the same to attend in Cosplay to a crowded event where we are dedicated to the public, to a quieter celebration with a limited number of attendees.

Y con todo, de todas maneras, necesitamos arreglarnos de vez en cuando 😅 muchos accesorios y en movimiento en algún momento necesitan un retoque (igual que el maquillaje). Btw! Momento apreciativo de mi Cosplay de Kojiro (ese fue un momento extraño, no me gusta tomarme fotos a mi misma en público, sé que para muchos es un gesto normal pero para mí es un gesto de egolatría y entro en combustión de la pena, pero me estoy esforzando por corregir eso y que el gesto al menos no me pese tanto).

(that was a weird moment, I don't like to take pictures of myself in public, I know for many it's a normal gesture but for me it's a gesture of egomania and I go into combustion of grief, but I'm trying hard to correct that and that the gesture at least doesn't weigh me down so much).

La entrevista finalmente se movió al final de la tarde, y de izquierda a la derecha pueden ver a Capnando, Larita, Alice, Rebe, y a mí. Las preguntas fueron muy bonitas y pude conocer mejor el carácter de mis compañeros. Todos somos bastante diferentes y siempre es enriquecedor descubrir cómo viven el Cosplay otras personas además de tu círculo cercano.
The interview finally moved to the end of the afternoon, and from left to right you can see Capnando, Larita, Alice, Rebe, and me. The questions were very nice and I was able to get to know the character of my classmates better. We are all quite different and it is always enriching to find out how other people besides your close circle live Cosplay.

Al final del día, después de un mini concierto en vivo, poder saludar y hablar unos momentos con los invitados internacionales (entré en modo tímido y prácticamente salí huyendo, me desconozco, pero sé que siempre hay más oportunidades para acercarte a estos espectaculares artistas, ya que son muy cotizados por las organizaciones de eventos y siempre solicitados en masa por el público, el señor Cesar es especialmente muy muy querido) recolecte las firmas del staff y amigos en mi afiche del evento 💜 ✌
At the end of the day, after a mini live concert, being able to say hello and talk for a few moments with the international guests (I went into shy mode and practically ran away, I don't know myself, but I know there are always more opportunities to approach these spectacular artists, as they are highly sought after by event organizations and always requested en masse by the public, Mr. Cesar is especially very very well liked) I collected the signatures of staff and friends on my poster of the event 💜 ✌

Finalmente, si, puedo decir que disfrute mucho la experiencia, y me alegra haber asistido. No fue una ocasión convencional, y me sentí algo extraviada, pero no tengo intensiones de presionarme siendo que hace relativamente poco salí de un hiatus cosplayeril de varios años. Sé que las dinámicas sociales, como todo en la vida, han cambiado (incluso dentro de estos círculos tan específicos como lo puede ser la comunidad geek), pero nunca fuí ni seré de seguir la corriente, tengo mi manera de hacer las cosas y mis tiempos también, y hoy más que nunca confío en mi intuición para saber qué sitios y personas, realmente valen la pena 🙌 y el caso de TOEV, es el tipo de organización con la que siento que puedo relacionarme (desde la confianza, la intensión de hacer solo cosas buenas por la comunidad, el cariño y la sinceridad).
Finally, yes, I can say that I really enjoyed the experience, and I'm glad I attended. It wasn't a conventional occasion, and I felt a bit lost, but I don't intend to put pressure on myself since I recently came out of a cosplayer hiatus of several years. I know that social dynamics, like everything in life, have changed (even within such specific circles as the geek community can be), but I never was and never will be one to go with the flow, I have my way of doing things and my times as well, and today more than ever I trust my intuition to know which sites and people are really worth it 🙌 and the case of TOEV, is the kind of organization with which I feel I can relate (from trust, the intention to do only good things for the community, affection and sincerity).
