It’s finally going on its way! Today, I picked up the main piece of the neck and after some hours of sharpening my plane’s blade, I started to do some work.

¡Ya comenzó el proyecto! Hoy, luego de varias horas afilando la hoja del cepillo, tomé la pieza principal del mástil y comencé a trabajar.
What I did today was basically remove the marks that were on the wood. These were made when the pieces were cut with a table saw. Also, this is the moment in which you need to make the piece even on each side. As you can see, I needed to keep a minimum width at 18 millimeters. This is to ensure the neck has the strength needed to prevent it from bending or breaking.
El trabajo de hoy fue básicamente remover las marcas de la madera. La madera que ha sido cortada para cualquier propósito suele retener marcas hechas por la sierra. Además, emparejé los lados del mástil. Como pueden ver en una foto, se necesita mantener un mínimo de 18 milímetros de espesor en esta pieza. Esto asegura que no se doble o rompa.
