Hello friends, today I want to share with you a repair job for a school notebook. This laptop had several problems, it had lost the image, and before that the touch mouse did not work so it was necessary to put a USB keyboard on it, also the on and off button was in bad condition like other problems that I was solving. The person who owns the Laptop needed it urgently so I had to fix it with her while waiting, something I don't like because I can't concentrate, however I did, I want to share my experience.
Hola amigos, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un trabajo de reparación de una notebook escolar. Esta laptop tenía varios problemas, había perdido la imagen, y antes de eso el mouse táctil no funcionaba por lo que había que ponerle un teclado USB, tambien el botón de encendido y apagado estaba en mal estado como otros prolemas que fui solucionando. La persona propietaria de la Laptop la necesitaba urgentemente así que tuve que arreglarla con ella a la espera, algo que no me gusta porque no me puedo concentrar, sin embargo lo hice, quiero compartir mi experiencia.
First I disassembled the entire notebook and in the process I realized that it had previous repairs that had not been very good, for example the hard disk port was already in frank deterioration, so sometimes when I turned it on it did not recognize this device. The power button was broken.
Primero desarme toda la notebook y en el proceso me di cuenta que tuvo reparaciones anteriores que no habian quedado muy bien, por ejemplo el puerto del disco duro ya estaba en franco deterioro, por lo que a veces al encenderla no reconocía este dispositivo. El boton de encendido estaba roto.
You can see how the power button was, both extremities were broken, although only one is seen in the photo. I had to use my recycling supplies to make two new tips.
Pueden observar como se encontraba el boton de encendio, ambas extremidades estaban rotas, aunque en la foto solo se ve una. Tuve que utilizar mis materiales de reciclaje para hacer dos extremidades nuevas.
Using plastic and aluminum I was able to mold two extremities, the ones missing from the button. Noticing the ones that were broken, I was able to draw them on plastic and cut them out with scissors. Then I reinforced them with aluminum and glued them using super glue.
Utilizando plastico y aluminio pude moldear dos extremidades, las que faltan al boton. Fijandome en las que estaan rotas pude dibujarlas en plastico y recortarlas con tijeras. Luego las reforcé con aluminio y las pegué utilizando super pegamento.
This is how the power button has been on the inside and outside. Then with a contact cleaner I cleaned the entire area where the power button works. Before riding I tested the hardness of the repaired button very well and it passed the test.
Así ha quedado el boton de encendido por la parte interior y la parte exterior. Luego con un limpia contactos limpié toda la zona donde el boton de encendido hace su función. antes de montar probé muy bien la dureza del botón reparado y pasó la prueba.
Then I went to check the RAM, which was dirty and dusty, I removed it and did a delicate cleaning and put it back in its place, the same I did with the wireless card and with the other contacts so that each device worked correctly.
Luego pasé a revisar la memoria RAM, que estaba sucia y con mucho polvo, la retiré y le hice una delicada limpieza y la volví a poner en su sitio, lo mismo hice con la tarjeta inalámbrica y con los demás contactos para que cada dispositivo funcionara correctamente.
The mouse connectors were damaged, the owner of the equipment informed me that the last time she had changed them but it was not like that, it is very obvious that they lied to her, so I replaced them with another one and put them in their place.
Los conectores del mouse estaban deteriorados, me informó la dueña del equipo que la última vez se los había cambiado pero no fue así, es muy obvio que le mintieron, asi que los reemplacé por otro y los coloqué en su sitio.
These school models are usually damaged in the port that corresponds to the hard disk, it is a very fragile and delicate part. I was able to repair the one I had using some special pliers and soldering it with tin. After finishing I put in place all the components
A estos modelos escolares suele dañarse en el puerto que le correspondel a disco duro, es una parte muy fragil y delicada. Pude reparar el que tenía usando unas pinzas especiales y soldandolo con estaño. Luego de terinar puse en su sitio todos los componentes
Finally I placed the screws that go through the battery part and in turn I placed the battery. As the laptop was completely discharged, I had to wait two hours to charge it again so I could test how it turned out.
Por ultimo coloqué los tornillos que van por la parte de la batería y a su vez coloqué la bateria. Como la laptop estaba descargada por completo tuve que esperar dos horas para cargarla de nuevo y así poder probar como quedó.
To finish, I placed the keyboard and proceeded to turn on the school notebook. I clicked the power button and it worked the best, it made the characteristic sound, I think it was well fixed. When starting the operating system and giving the image, the cleaning of the RAM memory was perfect and finally I moved the courses to all directions and opened pages and folders and it worked very well. These school equipment, being equipment intended for simple tasks, have generic components that deteriorate easily, I believe that they must be given good care and children must be taught to take care of things. The client was satisfied and went home to put her son on homework. Para finalizar coloqué el teclado y procedí a encender la notebook escolar. Pinché el boton de encendido y funcionó de lo mejor, hizo el sonido caracteristico, creo que quedo bien fijado. AL iniciar el sistema operativo y dar imagen, la limpieza de la memoria RAM estuvo perfecta y por último movi el cursos a todas las direcciones y abri paginas y carpetas y funcionó muy bien. Estos equipos escolares al ser equipos destinados a labores sencillas trane componentes genéricos que se deterioran con facilidad, creo que hay que darles un buen cuidado y enseñar a los niños a cuidar las cosas. La cliente quedó satisfecha y se fue a su casa para poner a su hijo a hacer las tareas. Espero que les haya gustado esta sencilla explicación, hay cosas que podemos arreglar si tenemos la paciencia para pensar en muchas ideas de como lograrlo. Me despido de ustedes hasta pronto.
