Recycling toothpaste boxes // Reciclando cajas de pasta dental
Welcome to a new recycling tutorial, by saving toothpaste boxes you will have good material to recycle, they are very useful to make mini organizers, in this post I will show you how to make a nice four compartment pencil holder.
Bienvenidos a un nuevo tutorial de reciclaje, al guardar cajas de pasta dental tendrás buen material para reciclar, son muy útiles para hacer mini organizadores, en este post te mostraré como hacer un lindo porta lápices de cuatro compartimentos
Materials // Materiales
Two equal sized boxes of toothpaste
School glue
Ruler
Pencil
Coloured cardboard (this time I chose a lilac coloured cardboard I had at home)
Cardboard with a design, I have one at home in pink with white polka dots.
Scissors
Paper heart design
School tweezers
Dos cajas de pasta dental de igual tamañoPegamento escolar
Regla
Lápiz
Cartulina de color ( en esta ocasión escogí una cartulina que tenía en casa de color lila)
Cartulina con algun diseño, tengo una en casa de color rosa y lunares blancos
Tijera
Diseño de corazón de papel
Pinzas escolares
Procedure // Procedimiento
Using the ruler, divide the two boxes in half.
Con la ayuda de la regla dividimos las dos cajas por la mitad
We obtain four equal parts, these will be the compartments and we will glue them with school glue, we will make pressure with the help of school tweezers and let them dry.
Obtenemos cuatro partes iguales, estos serán los compartimentos y los pegaremos con pegamento escolar, haremos presión con la ayuda de pinzas escolares y dejamos secar el pegamento
We start cutting out the lilac coloured cardboard, and using the school glue we cover the whole pencil box, with the other cardboard we will make two borders, one at the top and the other at the bottom.
Comenzamos a recortar la cartulina de color lila, y utilizando el pegamento escolar cubrimos toda la caja porta lápices, con la otra cartulina le haremos dos bordes,uno arriba y el otro abajo
We finish by gluing the paper heart all around the centre of the box, it is a beautiful decorative ornament for this pencil holder.
Terminamos pegando el corazón de papel en todo el centro de la caja, es un bello adorno decorativo para este porta lápices
The end result is fascinating, because in a simple way we obtain this useful and decorative beauty!
