The Eastern Striped Albatross (Appias Olferna)

IMG_20210518_081424.jpg

This is my first post in the Insects Of The World Community. Yes, I just found out that this community was only formed after seeing my friends posts who love insects using the Indonesian tag. Well, as a lover of insect photography, I look forward to being accepted into this great community.

In my first post, I want to show a picture of the eastern striped albatross butterfly. This photo was taken by me on the front page of my house. There are two mango trees that are about one meter high. Every morning, I always water it. Sometimes I see insects perching on the mango leaves, and by chance this morning I found the eastern striped albatross butterfly there.

The eastern striped albatross (Appias olferna) is a species of butterfly belonging to the family Pieridae. It is the butterfly commonly found in Indonesia, especially in the area where I live, Lhokseumawe City, Aceh.

We are very pleased to know that this community is reaching all insect lovers, you really have great shots of such an extraordinary specimen, you have an extensive text about this beauty and some really impressive shots, I would only dare to suggest you try to distribute the text between the different photos to give it a little more presence and have a little rest between reading.
Thank you and I hope to continue enjoying your content in this community by the way to see you participating in the contest would be great!
