Los adultos de Cymaenes , llegan a medir de 25 a 30mm con una longitud de extremo a extremo de las alas anteriores

Mayormente son de una coloración marrón oscura con unos puntos blancos en las alas anteriores. En este caso son un poco más clara

El macho y la hembra son muy similares, la diferencia es que la hembra tiene el abdomen más abultado.
En este caso está es un ejemplar hembra con un tamaño aproximado de 24 a 26 mm
