Splinterlands Card Review: Efreet Elder.

Welcome back to my blog where I'll try to review a splinterlands card in every detailed way possible with gameplay with the card and this time I'm going to review the Efreet Elder.

Efreet Elder (RARE Fire Monster)

I was kinda looking for a cool card to review which I haven't used in any battle before then I've found this exploding monster who looks like lava. Then I bought him and sent him to the battlefield. Trust me, I'm so happy that every monster except him died before him cause otherwise, I might never know the real and extendable power that it gets from the "Last Stand" ability. I really enjoyed the finishing of the battle while this monster alone killed all the monsters of my opponent when all my other monsters died. He is really a one-man army.

I've used this monster in level 1 on the battlefield with 1 magic attack, 3 speed & 8 health with the "Last Stand" ability, and it needs 6 mana to join a battle.

Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market.

Let me show one of my battle using this card.

Link to the battle.

A Brief Info About The Match

The battle mana cap was 18 with the "Standard" ruleset where I used the fire splinter for the battle and my opponent used the dragon splinter with the fire team against me.

After I used two melee monsters where one was at the front position and another one with the "Reach" ability at the second position, I've used the Efreet Elder at the third position, and then there was no mana left for the battle but there were slots left so I've called out to my Furious Chicken and she ran towards the battlefield.

Lineup.

I had my Cerberus in level 1, Giant Orc in level 1, Efreet Elder in level 1 & Furious Chicken in level 1.

And my opponent had his/her cards as Living Lava in level 1, Serpentine Spy in level 1, Spark Pixies in level 1 & Furious Chicken in level 1.

I've used four monsters where one was the Cerberus which is one of my favorite melee monsters of fire splinter, then I've used the Giant Roc after a very long time, then the Efreet Elder, and at last when there was no mana left, I've used the Furious Chicken as a bait.

Let me talk about cards that I used in this battle.

No 01: Cerberus (Rare Fire Monster)

Cerberus is the three-headed beast which is a great melee attacker in fire splinter and which I'm using from the very beginning of my splinterlands journey whenever I play a battle with fire splinter.

I used my Cerberus in level 1 with 2 melee attacks, 3 speed & 5 health with "Heal" ability and it needs 4 mana to battle.

No 02: Giant Roc (Common Fire Monster)

This is the monster with the "Reach" ability which I usually used almost in every battle that I fought with the fire splinter until I've found something better. Normally I didn't like it at the beginning of playing splinterlands but then I've found out this one is helpful at the second position for its "Reach" ability. Then I kept using it on the battlefield while it comes to play with the fire splinter. Then I've found a better monster with the "Reach" ability and stopped using him that often. But still, I like to use it when the battle has a low mana cap.

My Giant Roc is in level 1 with 1 melee attack, 2 speed, 4 health with the "Reach" ability, and it needs 5 mana.

No 03: Efreet Elder (RARE Fire Monster)

I was kinda looking for a cool card to review which I haven't used in any battle before then I've found this exploding monster who looks like lava. Then I bought him and sent him to the battlefield. Trust me, I'm so happy that every monster except him died before him cause otherwise, I might never know the real and extendable power that it gets from the "Last Stand" ability. No 04: Furious Chicken (Rare Neutral Monster)

This is the card that I use when there's a slot left but no mana left. I mean its service is great for free I suppose. Right now... I can't imagine playing a match without this card.
It's like the chicken that lays the golden egg. It provides great support with its counterattack. With 0 mana... it's just amazing.

My Furious Chicken is in level 1 with 1 speed, 1 health and It needs 0 mana to play.

On the battlefield.

For the special buff of my summoner, all my melee monsters got +1 melee attack each. And for the special buff of my opponent's summoner, all the opponent's monsters got +1 shield each. Then Spark Pixies of my opponent, the most speed holder in both teams started the battle with its first attack on my Cerberus and killed 2 health out of 5 and right after that, my Efreet Elder attacked and killed one health of Living Lava of my opponent out of six. Then my Cerberus healed back the 2 health that it lost and attacked and killed 2 shields of Living Lava of my opponent. Then Serpentine Spy of my opponent digested my Furious Chicken. Following, my Giant Roc destroyed the only shield of Living Lava of my opponent. And Living Lava of my opponent has attacked for the first time after all that happened, and that attack killed 3 health of my Cerberus out of 5.

At the beginning of a new round and one of my opponent's monsters managed to kill my Cerberus at the very beginning of the new round. Then my Efreet Elder attacked the Living Lava of my opponent again. Then monsters of my opponent team managed to kill my Giant Roc as well which left my team only with my Efreet Elder and my team couldn't kill a single monster of my opponent. Then the awesome thing happened.

I've never seen such an ability in the splinterlands before which I got to see for the Efreet Elder. When every monster of my team died except Efreet Elder, the "Last Stand" ability got activated automatically and for that ability, the monster gains increased stats if it's the only monster on the alive.

My Efreet Elder had stats as following before,

Magic Attack - 1
Speed - 3
Health - 8
Last Stand - Deactivated.

My Efreet Elder had stats as following after,

Magic Attack - 2
Speed - 5
Health - 12
Last Stand - Activated.

Then my Efreet Elder attacked and killed the Living Lava of my opponent at first. Then it got shot by two monsters of my opponent but nothing much happened to my Efreet Elder.

Then my Efreet Elder kinda exploded more and started killing opponent monsters one by one until it killed the last monster of my opponent. Although my Efreet Elder had the ability to grill the chicken of my opponent at last as it's an exploding monster.

The battle got finished in round 7 while my team only had Efreet Elder alive. It was indeed a fantastic battle that my Efreet Elder fought.
