Um back people with another blog post in HIVE.
This time I'm going to showcase one of my battle using Defender of truth in splinterlands weekly battle challenge.
Grim reaper is a death monster that's of reward edition.
This monster have ranged attack for what this monster can attack from any position except the first position unless the battle has some special rule set and it has affliction ability at the lower level for what when it hits a target, it has a chance of applying affliction on the target causing it to be unstable to be healed.

For this challenge, you'll need to showcase a battle using the theme card and you should talk about the monsters that you use in the battle, about the battle.
The entry post should be shared on any social media and I'll use my twitter handle for that.
There should be a #splinterlands tag.
Then you should leave your post link and your social media link where you shared it as a comment in the official challenge post of @splinterlands.
Battling procedure with Grim reaper:
As you'll need to battle with Grim reaper so you should play the battle using death splinter as Grim reaper is a death monster.
From the battle page, you need to click on the ranked battle button and you should wait for a little time.
This takes a little time to find a worthy opponent.
It might take a little longer sometimes and sometimes as it seems.
Then you'll see that you have an enemy waiting for you on the other side.
You can see everything about the battle here such as-
Rules of the battle, mana cap of the battle, splinters that can be used in the battle, the countdown time and you can check on your opponent too from here.
Click on the Make Team button.
Then you'll find a page with all your splinters that can be used in the battle.
As I had to play this battle with death splinter to showcase the battle of Grim reaper as that's a life monster, I chose my death splinters summoner.
Then I chose the cards that I wanted in this battle.
There I chose Phantasm, Undead badger, Grim reaper, Furious chicken.
Buying procedure of Grim reaper card(s):
- First, you need to go to the market and then you'll need to find the card or you can go directly from this link.
- Then you'll need to find the best suitable cards for you.
You can buy high-level cards or you can buy level 1 single cards and then you can combine them and you can upgrade the level.
My lineup for this battle:
The mana cap for this battle was 17 with standard ruleset and friendly monster team had four monsters against the enemy monster team with three monsters.
Phantasm:
Phantasm is a common melee monster of death splinter.
I used Phantasm in that position as it's mainly a melee attacker that only can attack from the first position unless the ruleset has some special buffs.
Beside with the mana cap, I got this monster most fit in the first position.
It has 2 melee attack, 4 speed, 7 Health in level 1.
It's a 6 mana monster.
Undead Badger:
Undead Badger is a common death monster that I've in level 1.
I used Mantoid in that position as it's a melee attacker with sneak ability and being a low mana monster, it has nice powers such as 1 melee attack, 3 speed, 1 Health in level 1.
It's an 2 mana monster.
Grim reaper:
Grim reaper is a rare death monster that I've in level 1.
I used Grim reaper in that position as it's a ranged attacker with affliction ability and being a high mana monster, it has nice powers such as 3 ranged attacks, 2 speed, but low health as 3 Health in level 1.
It's an 6 mana monster.
Furious Chicken:
Furious Chicken is a rare neutral monster that I have in level 1.
I used Furious Chicken in that position as a bait so that it can get hits from enemies when other cards can do their things.
Besides I couldn't do anything better but using a monster with 0 mana as the mana cap of the battle was so low as 15.
It has 1 speed, 1 Health in level 1.
It's a 0 mana monster.
In the battlefield:
Link to the battle.
Unicorn mastang of the enemy monster team attacked for the first time in round 1.
Then Phantasm of the friendly monster team attacked on the Unicorn mustang of the enemy monster team.
Undead badger of the friendly monster team attacked on the Goblin thief of enemy monster team.
Grim reaper of the friendly monster team attacked on the Unicorn mustang of enemy monster team and that Unicorn mustang already lost half of its health.
Then Goblin thief of enemy monster team attacked and then killed Furious chicken of friendly monster team.
One by one monster of enemy monster team kept dying and then the enemy monster team lost the battle. The battle ended in round 3 where friendly monster team still had three monsters alive.
Undead badger of friendly monster team killed the last monster of the enemy monster team and there came victory.
