Harlequins of the Silver Age exhibition, Spring 2019. This graphic exhibition at the Tretyakov Gallery was timed to coincide with the approaching 150th anniversary of Konstantin Somov (1869-1939), a painter and graphic artist who belonged to the pleiad of the brightest figures of the Silver Age. The Tretyakov Gallery has the largest collection of Somov's graphic art, which provides an opportunity to appreciate the uniqueness of his landscape concept and his craftsmanship.
Серебренников уходит из Гоголь-центра. 🚫 Именно так я решила подписать часть 3 своего триптиха о выставки Энди Уорхола. Это боль. Потому что это мой любимый театр, любимый худрук и режиссёр. В этом театре я посмотрела наибольшее число постановок, за билетами на Его спектакли я стояла в очередях на тротуаре Большого и на сайте Гоголь-центра. Барокко.
Serebrennikov is leaving Gogol Centre. 🚫 That's how I decided to sign part 3 of my triptych about the Andy Warhol exhibition. It's a pain. Because it's my favourite theatre, my favourite artist and director. It's the theatre where I've seen the most productions, I've queued for tickets to his shows on the pavement of the Bolshoi and on the Gogol Centre website. Baroque.
Гоголь-центр. Реж. Серебренников. Спектакль, репетиции которого проходили в период ареста Серебренникова. Современное искусство в чистом виде. Я ранее писала отзыв про этот спектакль. Там я узнала, что на Уорхола было покушение! Огонь, революция, отрицание, борьба. Нуреев. Большой. Реж. Серебренников. Первые постановки выкупила Московская элита, спустя полгода и 4 часа в очереди я дождалась своего билета. Борьба со снобизмом, предрассудками, суждениями. Машина Мюллер.
Gogol Centre. Directed by. Serebrennikov. A production which was rehearsed during the period of Serebrennikov's arrest. Modern art in its purest form. I had previously written a review about this production. There I learnt that Warhol had been assassinated! Fire, revolution, denial, struggle. Nureyev. Bolshoi. Directed by. Serebrennikov. The first productions were bought out by the Moscow elite; after six months and four hours in line I waited for my ticket. Fighting snobbery, prejudice, judgment. Car Müller.
Гоголь-центр. Реж. Серебренников. В ролях Богомолов. Ничего не понятно, но эффект от просмотра такой, что после этого мне захотелось пересмотреть все спектакли Серебренникова в Гоголь-центре. Вот это точно не про искусство для всех. В этом искусстве не понятна большая часть. Но это и не картины. Тут важна эмоция в моменте, а не медитативное созерцание. А выставка до 14 февраля.
Gogol Centre. Directed by. Serebrennikov. Starring Bogomolov. Nothing is clear, but the effect of watching it was such that it made me want to review all of Serebrennikov's productions at the Gogol Centre. It is definitely not about art for everyone. Much of the art is not understandable. But it's not a painting either. What matters here is emotion in the moment, not meditative contemplation. And the exhibition is on until February 14.
