Women love accessories especially to complement our outfit and things to make us look beautiful, gorgeous and lovely in our dressing is of paramount when going out, this is not limited to older women alone, even little children love to look good in their outfit complemented with other accessories, for my little ones, I have made different types of accessories for them using my skills and creativity to make something nice for them from pieces of fabric as that is my area of specialisation. Today, I have decided to make this simple twisted headband for myself as a simple accessory for my outfit and the outcome is so nice so I thought to o share in the community for I know someone out there will like and want to try it out as it is simple and very easy to make with this few step by step process I will be sharing.

I got this pieces of fabric from an outfit I made for a client a long time ago, I usually keep pieces left over from the outfit I made for future or further uses and this is one of the usefulness of keeping those pieces, I was actually looking for the fabric to use for the headband and luckily, I saw this where I had kept it for a very long time and now it is time for it to be used.

Join me as I take you through the cutting and sewing process of my simple twisted headband

Using the pieces of fabric, I measured and cut out 2 pieces of 18 x 7"

Both pieces were in folded in two on the wrong side and were sewn together, after which it was turned inside out to the right side

With the seam line at the middle, I placed one of the pieces on the other in a cross form just as seen below

It was folded together and was taken to the sewing machine where I sew the tip together on each side
