Hello beautiful HIVE community, it's been two weeks since I joined this great platform and I would like to thank everyone who has supported me and visited me during this time. For this opportunity I will leave you a tutorial where everyone can appreciate and learn how to make some decorative pencil holders for our desk or study table, they can also be very useful for our little ones and their study materials. To decorate these pencil holders I decided to make the main characters of the movie Monster Inc "Sullivan and Mike Wazoski". I hope you can join me and enjoy my content of the day.

Hola hermosa comunidad de HIVE, ya son dos semanas desde que me uní a esta gran plataforma y me gustaría agradecer a todos los que me han apoyado y visitado durante este tiempo. Para esta oportunidad les dejaré un tutorial donde todos y todas podrán apreciar y aprender a como hacer unos portalacipes decorativos para nuestra mesa de trabajo o de estudios, también pueden ser muy útiles para nuestros pequeños y sus materiales de estudios. Para decorar estos portalapices decidí hacer a los protagonistas de la película Monster Inc “Sullivan y Mike Wazoski”. Espero que puedan acompañarme y disfrutar de mi contenido del día.
-- Materials --
To make these pencil holders, we will use a graphite pencil, foamy sheets (blue, green, and white), ruler, marker, colors, scissors, cold silicone, recycled cans (large and small).

Para realizar estos portalapices, usaremos un lápiz de grafito, láminas de foamy (azul, verde, y blanco), regla, marcador, colores, tijera, silicon frio, Latas recicladas (grande y pequeña).
-- Step by step --
We mark on some foamy sheets the measures of the cans, one of green color, and another one of blue color. Then we cut it with the idea that it should be a good size to cover both cans and we chose these colors to simulate the skin color of the main characters of Monster INC (Mike Wazowski and Sullivan).

Marcamos en unas láminas de foamy las medidas de las latas, uno de color verde, y otra de color azul. Luego la recortamos con la idea de que quede de buen tamaño que permita cubrir o forra ambas latas y elegimos estos colores para simular el color de piel de los protagonistas de Monster INC (Mike Wazowski y Sullivan).
We draw on a piece of white foamy the eyes of the two monsters (Mike Wazowski and Sullivan), the eyebrows, the nose, and also the horns. Then we cut out these small figures very carefully.
Dibujamos sobre un trozo de foamy blanco los ojos de los dos monstruos (Mike Wazowski y Sullivan), las cejas, la nariz, y también los cuernos. Después recortamos estas pequeñas figuras con mucho cuidado.
We apply color to each piece, we paint Wazoski's big eye with green color, the small eyes with blue color, the horns with gray color, and we also mark the edges with black color.
Aplicamos color a cada pieza, pintamos el ojo grande de Wazoski de color verde, los ojos pequeños con color azul, los cuernos de color gris, y también marcamos los bordes de color negro.
We draw some circles on the blue foamy that we will use to cover the big can, we color those circles in purple to simulate the details of Sullivan's real skin, we also draw his mouth, glue the eyes, nose, and eyebrows of this cute blue monster.
Dibujamos unos círculos sobre el foamy de color azul que usaremos para cubrir la lata grande, coloreamos dichos círculos de morado para simular los detalles de la piel real de Sullivan, también dibujamos su boca, pegamos los ojos, nariz, y cejas de este lindo monstruo azul.
We apply the same procedure for the green sheet of Wazoski, draw the mouth, glue the eye. We take the opportunity to cover or line the can, and glue his horns on top.
Aplicamos el mismo procedimiento para la lámina verde de Wazoski, dibujamos la boca, pegamos el ojo. Aprovechamos para cubrir o forrar la lata, y pegamos sus cuernos en la parte superior.
Now we cover the big can with this nice blue foamy to simulate this cute monster. And we also glue the horns on the sides and that's it...
Ahora cubrimos la lata grande con este lindo foamy azul para simular este lindo monstruo. Y también pegamos los cuernos a los lados y listo…
Making crafts like this is a lot of fun, especially to see the final result of what we put so much effort and love into. And even better if they are done in the company of the little ones of the house and even in pairs. I hope you liked these Sullivan and Wazoski pencil holders.
Hacer manualidades como esta es algo muy divertido, sobre todo ver el resultado final de aquello a que le pusimos tanto esfuerzo y amor. Y mejor aún si se hacen en compañía de los mas pequeños de la casa e incluso en parejas. Espero que les hayan gustado estos Portalapices de Sullivan y Wazoski.
