Greetings, fellow craft lovers! Welcome back to my workshop @bricolajedc. This time, I would love to share with you a project that I personally adore and that I will be doing in a small series this year, starting with some cute cold porcelain snowmen with magnets for any metal surface. Join me and I will show you the creative process behind this project, which marks the start of Christmas in my workshop.

Sean bienvenidos una vez más a mi taller @bricolajedc, en esta oportunidad me encantaría compartir con ustedes un proyecto que personalmente me encanta y que este año haré en una pequeña serie, comenzando con unos lindos muñecos de nieve en porcelana fría con imán para cualquier superficie metálica. Acompáñeme y les muestro el proceso creativo de este proyecto y con esto doy inicio a la navidad el mi taller.
Muñecos de nieve en porcelana fría con imán| Tutorial
For this project, we will need cold porcelain clay, watercolors, circular magnets, school glue, black beads, UV resin, and twisted jewelry wire.
We will also need sticks, acetate, plastic paper, and a UV lamp.
Let's get started!
Para este proyecto vamos a necesitar masa de porcelana fría, acuarela, imanes circulares, pegamento escolar, mostacillas de color negro, resina UV, alambre de bisutería entorchado.
Además necesitaremos Estecas, acetato, papel plástico, Lámpara UV.

We begin by adding color to the dough. We take small 5-gram portions and color them with watercolors. We wrap them in plastic wrap and store them in a container with a lid.
Comenzamos dándole color a la masa. Tomamos pequeñas porciones de 5 gramos y vamos darle color con las acuarelas. Envolvemos en papel plástico y guardamos en un recipiente con tapa.
We take the white color and make a sphere, which we will then flatten.
Tomamos el color blanco y vamos a hacer una esfera que luego vamos a aplanar.
Place a drop of glue and press the magnet down until it is inside the dough.
Colocamos una gota de pegamento y vamos a hundir el imán hasta que quede dentro de la masa.
Turn it over with the help of the flat stick, place two small dots of glue, and press two beads into them to make the buttons.
Damos la vuelta con ayuda de la esteca plana y colocamos 2 pequeños puntos de pegamento y hundimos 2 mostacillas para hacer los botones.
We will make a small orange cone and use the flat stick to make small cracks in it. We will then leave it to air dry for an hour so that it hardens.
Working with dry pieces makes it easier to assemble the figurines, especially when they are so small.
Haremos un pequeño cono de color naranja y con la esteca plana le vamos a hacer pequeñas grietas y dejamos secar al aire por una hora para que se endurezca.
Trabajar con piezas secas facilita el armado de las figuritas, sobre todo cuando son tan pequeñas.
Then we will make two dry branches for the arms of our snowman. We will make the arms with a piece of brown dough.
Luego vamos a hacer 2 ramas secas para los brazos de nuestro muñeco de nieve. Con un trozo de masa color marrón haremos los brazos.

All that's left is to make the accessories for our snowmen. We can make any Christmas accessory, scarves, earmuffs, hats. The idea is to enjoy the process of making them and let your imagination run wild.
These little friends are ideal as gifts at this time of year. Something personalized and special.
I like to use shiny elements such as gold-colored jewelry wire and glitter in this type of project.
Solamente nos queda hacer los accesorios para nuestros muñecos de nieve. Podemos hacer cualquier accesorio de navidad, bufandas, orejeras, gorros. La idea es disfrutar el proceso de elaboración y dejar volar la imaginación.
Estos pequeños amigos son ideales para dar un regalo en estas fechas. Algo personalizado y especial.
Me gusta utilizar en este tipo de proyectos, algunos elementos brillantes como alambre de bisutería en color oro y escarcha.
Once the pieces are finished, we leave them to air dry for 8 hours, and then it's time to add a thin layer of UV resin, which will protect each snowman from moisture.
Una vez terminadas las piezas, las dejamos secar al aire durante 8 horas y será el momento de agregar una capa fina de resina UV, esto va a proteger cada muñeco de nieve de la humedad.
Using a fine brush, we will cover each piece, ensuring that the entire surface is evenly coated. Then we will place the piece under the UV lamp to dry the resin. We will give it three cycles of 120 seconds each. And then our pieces will be ready.
Con un pincel fino vamos a cubrir cada pieza cubriendo muy bien toda la superficie uniformemente. Luego colocamos la lámpara UV para secar la resina. Vamos a darle 3 ciclos de 120 segundos. Y así estarán listas nuestras piezas.
