I managed to ruin a good pair of jeans while I was using bleach to remove mold from some very dark corners of my beauty salon. Of course that I could have prevented this if I were to wear "working clothes", but why bother ?
I looked at the pair in dismay....I felt quite annoyed with my own ignorance and took the bottle of bleach and started to spritz the magic smelly liquid all over the darn thing. Hahaha. This was the beginning of a beautiful project called "paint them like they were never ruined"
Yes, this won't be shown at Milano Fashion Week anytime soon. Wait for it.....
So I took my textile paints and figured that I could just paint them for myself. No limits , no special requirements, just going with the flow. Often in my life I have felt like a little alien visiting Planet Earth. Maybe this is a common thing for an artistic creative nerd, to feel like they do not belong to the species🤣.
So in my free time , while being at work, I started to beautify my jeans. I wanted to write I live on another planet both in romanian and english. I wanted bright bold colors.
I feel that this style represents my personality when I am joyful. A woman with vivid imagination, who spends her time mostly day dreaming and imagining all sorts of possible futures.
Only at the end I realized that my jeans match with my beloved plants haha. Go green or go home I shall say. I like them. I saw that most people were drawn to the design as it is super colorful and pretty. I rarely see people wearing colorful happy clothes. We should embrace our inner child more and give up to the idea what once we are adults we should only dress oh so serious. We don't have to.

Haha thanks Boomy🤗 I think that with this method tons of clothing will be saved and more money will stay in our pockets because buying new clothes everytime you spoil an old one can be quite costly lol. Anyone can do this, you can paint abstract doodle art and still you would be at a win versus throwing them out and getting a new pair. Since I discovered crypto I think something like this: spend it on jeans, which will go out of fashion, or keep it and let it grow like a sweet pie in the wallet 's oven...Hmmmm 😅

On my Planet I have only fair dust made out of little newborn stars which glow with a warm light which hits my hair every morning while luminiscent dragonflies magically appear out of my hair lol. I had such a fantastic dream last night, like I was in space and looking back from there I could travel the entire Planet hahaha. Yup, sometimes I get those wild colorful magical surreal dreams and I can actually remember them. Waking up to a real life almost seemed dull🤣🤣🤣

As if I am doing a lot of hard work while I sleep, in another dimension, which makes me wake up tired day after single day. They are usually pretty realistic though, I would much rather have a fantastic colorful fairytale kind of dream, like yours :<)
Where I live, in the countryside of Portugal, many of us - myself included - try not to use chemicals, as water often feeds right into the land. Aside from that my body responds strongly to most unnatural stuff, being hypersensitive and all ;<)

Thank you so much🤗 Oh yup, after I noticed the mess I was like :bummer, I just bought them on discount damnn hahahaha. You see, I think that we can always find a creative solution to a problem if we put our mind to it. Although it might sound odd to you, this is the first time I tried to save a ruined item by painting it. How it did not occur to me earlier? Dunno. Artists are weird lol. But now I think differently as I rarely buy new clothes because I rather keep those money in crypto . I also think of our Planet and how much waste is created by tossing clothes and using cotton to create new ones just for the sake of it. I adore second hand stores where I can find good clothes as I feel better about making better financial choices with my money and also showing care for the Planet. So yup I am pretty much going to save every clothing item which can be saved through art because it is smarter, wiser and more caring for the environment🥰 And I also love the idea of wearing unique designs on my clothes. Hihihi.
This is very true. "Fast fashion" isn't good for the environment at all, nor is the idea of planned obsolescence in general. Finding new ways to re-used and reduce items is really smart, and good for the environment and the wallet. Lol

Thanks a lot!🤗 I used Jacquard Textile paints, they are special paints for textiles, super resistant and they do not wash away. I highly recommend them

Hey! Thank you🤗 Adults should embrace their inner child more often, I have noticed that when I wear bold bright colors other adults look at me in awe. Isn't that sad in our society? If it were by my standards, everybody should dress according to how they feel inside, not according to their age.
aah yes I get that too, though it is funny because sometimes I feel like the kids would look at your clothes and be interested in them. But for sure it should just stay fun to dress up, I find, whatever that means for different people..:)

Cute, fun and creative…my three favorite things. I just turned 40 last year but feel as if I’m still in my twenties. I don’t think I will ever tire of wearing bright and bold colors and expressing myself in fun ways.
