Haciendo un cactus en el desierto: un dibujo lleno de formas y colores🏜 [Esp/Eng]

Hola comunidad @hivediy. Pensando en un dibujo de un paisaje diferente y creativo se me ocurrió uno que incluyera cactus, esas plantas de formas tan bonitas que se caracterizan por vivir en lugares extremadamente secos y calurosos, como los desiertos, que de eso se trata mi dibujo de hoy. Espero que les guste este proyecto que hice con mucho amor y dedicación. 🌵🏜

Hello @hivediy community. Thinking about a different and creative landscape drawing, I came up with one that includes cacti, those beautifully shaped plants known for thriving in extremely dry and hot places like deserts. That’s what today’s drawing is all about. I hope you enjoy this project I made with lots of love and dedication. 🌵🏜

Paso a paso / Step by step

Paso 1: Con el lápiz de carbón inicié creando el boceto. Primero las montañas que serían la base de todo lo demás. Primero las montañas grandes arriba y fui añadiendo líneas debajo que serían las montañas más pequeñas. Luego arriba de las montañas más grandes hice el sol. En el borde inferior añadí un marco de cactus de diferentes formas y tamaños, así como en las distintas montañas. Por último, como rayos de luz, dibujé unas líneas que salieron del sol y se extendieran por todo el cielo.

Step 1: I started sketching with the charcoal pencil. First, I drew the mountains that would be the base of everything else, large ones at the top, then added smaller ones below. Above the tallest mountains, I drew the sun. At the bottom edge, I added a frame of cacti in different shapes and sizes, as well as some on the mountains. Finally, I drew lines radiating from the sun like beams of light spreading across the sky.

Paso 2: El segundo paso es contornear todas las líneas del boceto con un color negro. Esto es para que nuestro dibujo resalte mucho más.

Step 2: The second step is outlining all the sketch lines with black. This helps the drawing stand out much more.

Paso 3: Viene la parte más divertida para mí, usar los colores. Comencé con los tonos amarillos, para el sol, las líneas del cielo y algunas montañas. Luego tonos marrones, naranjas y rojos que fui añadiendo donde vi necesario en las montañas y el cielo. Posteriormente verde y morado en los cactus y azul para el cielo.

Step 3: Now comes the most fun part for me, coloring. I started with yellow tones for the sun, the sky lines, and some mountains. Then I added browns, oranges, and reds where I felt they were needed in the mountains and sky. After that, I used green and purple for the cacti and blue for the sky.

Así fue como quedó el dibujo 💜🏜

And that’s how the drawing turned out 💜🏜

Mientras lo hacía me dio la sensación de que estaba coloreando una mandala o un dibujo de esos donde tienes que rellenar cada espacio en blanco, porque despues de que hice el contorno con negro me quedó como de ese estilo, algo que me gustó mucho porque hizo que el proceso de buscar cada color para cada espacio fuera aún más facil y entretenido.

While I was doing it, I felt like I was coloring a mandala or one of those drawings where you have to fill in each blank space, because after outlining it in black, it ended up looking like that style,something I really liked because it made the process of choosing each color for each space even easier and more fun.

Los cactus son ese estilo de plantas que uno las ve en lugares donde parece imposible, que requieren poca agua pero son hermosos por eso fue que quise hacer un dibujo con algunos cactus, aunque proximamente sé que haré más porque el resultado me pareció excelente, darle distintas formas es algo que me gustó.

Cacti are that kind of plant you see in places where it seems impossible, they require little water but are beautiful, that’s why I wanted to make a drawing with some cacti. Although I know I’ll be making more soon because I thought the result was excellent, giving them different shapes was something I really enjoyed.

Este proyecto de dibujo me dio la oportunidad de dejar volar la creatividad mientras exploraba la belleza de un paisaje desértico. Con una combinación de colores que no estaba acostumbrada a utilizar, desde tonos terrosos como marrones y naranjas, hasta colores fuertes como verdes y morados para los cactus. This drawing project gave me the chance to let my creativity fly while exploring the beauty of a desert landscape. I used a mix of colors I wasn’t used to, from earthy tones like browns and oranges to bold colors like green and purple for the cacti.
