My dear creative friends I tell you that this locket is one of the accessories that we women use to highlight our beauty, because when we use a necklace we always need something to highlight our neck .... this is a beautiful and original handmade medallion, in which I wanted to highlight a butterfly, as these are a symbol of constant transformation thanks to its metamorphosis process, in addition, in terms of the spiritual aspect the butterfly also has its meaning in which they range from resurrection to freedom or love...
This beautiful and radiant locket looks great in those casual moments or simply to complete your daily outfit to go to work or to go out to share a coffee with your friends, I think it is a good detail to give to that person who always wants to wear original things. This beautiful locket can also be made in any other color of your preference because you can get this type of stone in many colors and a variety of shapes.

Feliz miércoles tengan todos, especialmente a todos mis queridas amigas artesanas y creativos de esta adorable comunidad de #HiveDiy. Espero se encuentren bien ante esta tormenta que estamos atravesando, cuídense mucho.Es un placer estar nuevamente hoy con ustedes, mostrandole otro de mis proyecto y esperando que les sea de su agrado. En esta ocasión les quiero enseñar el paso a paso de cómo convertir una hermosa piedra en un bello y radiante medallón.
Mis queridas amigas creativas les cuento que este medallón es uno de los complementos que nosotras las mujer usamos para resaltar nuestra belleza, ya que cuando usamos un descote siempre nos hace falta algo para resaltar nuestro cuello... este es un bello y original medallón artesanal, en el cual quise resaltar una mariposa, ya que estas son un símbolo de transformación constante gracias a su proceso de metamorfosis, ademas, en cuanto al aspecto espiritual la mariposa también tienen su significado en el cual ellas abarcan desde la resurrección hasta la libertad o el amor...
Este bello y radiante medallón lucen muy bien en aquellos momentos casuales o simplemente para completar tu atuendo diario para ir al trabajo o para salir a compartir con tus amigas un café, considero que es un buen detalle para obsequiarle a esa persona que siempre quiere lucir cosas originales. Este hermoso medallón también lo puedes realizar de cualquier otro color de tu preferencia ya que se este tipo de piedra la puedes conseguir en las casas de bisutería de muchos colores y de una variedad de formas.

#28 gauge wire - Round nose pliers
- Wire cutting pliers
- Black Chinese thread
- Cristales checos (rosados y morados)
- Base mariposa
- Piedra para bisutería
- Drops Para dijes
- Alambre calibre #20
- Alambre calibre #28
- Pinza punta redonda
- Pinza de corte de alambre
- Hilo chino negro
1: We start by filling our butterfly base and for this we take the #28 caliber thread, we loop it to the base and then we introduce one by one the Czech crystals on one side of the butterfly and then we repeat the same procedure on the other side of the butterfly, as you can see in the pictures.
1: Iniciamos rellenando nuestra base de mariposa y para ello tomamos el hilo calibre #28 lo enlazamos a la base y luego introducimos uno a uno los cristales checos de un lado de la mariposa y después repetimos el mismo procedimiento del otro lado de la mariposa, como pueden observar en las imágenes.
2: We take our purple stone and introduce the #20 wire through the hole that has the stone, leaving an excess to then make a small ring and finish covering all around the stone, then at the bottom we make a small grimace.
2: Tomamos nuestra piedra morada e introducimos el alambre calibre #20 por el agujero que tiene dicha piedra, dejando un sobrante para luego realizar una pequeña argolla y terminamos de cubrir por todo el alrededor de dicha piedra, luego en la parte inferior realizamos una pequeña mueca.
3: Now we proceed to twist our butterfly to the stone, for it we take wire #28 and attach it to the wire that has around our stone, as you can see in the images.
3: Ahora procedemos a entorchar nuestra mariposa a la piedra, para ella tomamos alambre #28 y la sujetamos al alambre que tiene alrededor nuestra piedra, como pueden ver en las imágenes.
4: Once our butterfly has been set on the stone, we proceed to make a ring at the top of the stone and insert the Drops for charms.
4: Una vez entorchada nuestra mariposa a la piedra, procedemos a realizar una argolla en la parte superior de la piedra e introducir el Drops Para dijes.
5: Finally, we cut a meter of Chinese thread and fold it in half and we place our medallion on one end and on the other end we place a ring and on the other end we place a hook to close it.
5: Para finalizar cortamos un metro de hilo chino y lo doblamos a la mitad y le colocamos nuestro medallón y en una de la punta le realizamos una argolla y en la otra punta le colocamos un ganchito para cerrar.

Nunca aprendí a trabajar con alambre pero me gusta mucho como quedan las cosas que se hacen con el, esa mariposa te quedó hermosa y el medallón como tal está hermoso también, me encantó tu trabajo ♥️
Gracias amiga, no es tarde para aprender si te lo propones lo logras, y te cuento que no es tan difícil de manipular el alambre, cuando yo empecé a trabajarlo me daba miedo que se rompiera...pero todo es la práctica. Saludos
