A veces no tenemos esta coincidencia de tiempo, entonces me manda un mensaje y yo paso a buscar muñecos y los pinto en mi casa. La verdad que de cualquier manera me encanta ayudar, aunque a veces se vuelve difícil. Algunas telas son muy oscuras y difíciles de pintar, me enfrento a distintas frustraciones ya que, aunque pinté mucho en mi vida, actualmente solo lo hago en estas ocasiones. El resto del tiempo no uso muchos pinceles y acrílicos. He perdido la práctica.

Además, me divierte mucho una vez terminado, porque ella tiene una sesión de fotos de todo lo que vamos realizando, siempre que terminamos una tanda de muñecos me avisa “mirá que se vienen más” Para mi, la relación con mi vecina es como si fuera mi madre, mi tía. Al final hemos vivido en casas contiguas toda la vida, su hijo es mi amigo y tenemos la misma edad. Una vida compartiendo y conociéndonos. Su corazón se ensancha y claramente agranda a los demás.

I don't hesitate for a second, there I go and we use all the imagination possible. Painting buttons, cute little faces, using threads and ribbons to decorate, putting hair on them. Like the day a lady came up with the idea of making these little clowns with little circles. It's a very detailed job that is simple and beautiful, and I love painting the clowns' faces!

No lo dudo un solo segundo, allí voy y usamos toda la imaginación posible. Pintar botones, caritas tiernas, usar hilos y cintas para decorar, colocarles pelo. Como el día que a una señora se le ocurrió hacer estos payasitos con circulitos. Es un trabajo muy detallado que queda simple y bonito. ¡Y me encanta pintar las caritas a los payasos!

I always have a good time being there, understanding that we all do what comes from our hearts, what we can and dare. And it also lets me see that we can always help, that it's not so much our ability that matters, but our willingness. And that even though other people at her age are living “adult” lives, she entertains herself with different activities and even encouraging others to be of help. I enjoy these times very much.

Siempre paso un buen momento estando allí, entendiendo que todos hacemos lo que nos sale del corazón, lo que podemos y nos atrevemos. Y también me deja ver que siempre podemos ayudar, que no importa tanto nuestra posibilidad, sino nuestra voluntad.
