Greetings 🙋🏻♀️ to everyone in the #Hivediy community! Today I want to share with you how I recovered a plastic chair that I have in the garden at home, that because of the sun and rain was deteriorating, until it looked like this:

Entonces, decidí hacerle un cariñito y mejorar en la medida de lo posible su aspecto o apariencia.
If you want to do something similar for the plastic chairs in your house, you can follow the following steps and tips:
Si quieres hacer algo similar para las sillas plásticas de tu casa, puedes seguir los siguientes pasos y consejos:
Step 1: Sand the plastic chair to remove any residue or surface imperfections. Make sure the surface is smooth to the touch.
Paso 1: Lija la silla de plástico para quitar cualquier residuo o imperfección en la superficie. Asegúrate de que la superficie esté suave al tacto.

Step 2: Wash the chair with soap and water to remove any dust and dirt that may be present.
Paso 2: Lava la silla con agua y jabón para eliminar el polvo y la suciedad que puedan estar presentes.

Step 3: Prepare the paint with a homemade waterproofing, In my case I used a mixture that is produced by combining anime and gasoline. For this I used black anime and obtained a product that I used to paint the chair.
Paso 3: Prepara la pintura con un impermeabilizante casero, en mi caso use una mezcla que se produce al combinar anime y gasolina. Para ello utilicé anime de color negro y obtuve un producto que me sirvió para pintar la silla.

Step 4: Paint the chair with the homemade black mixture, soak the brush and apply it all over the surface of the chair (front, back, top, bottom). This mixture is easy to apply, dries very fast, and gives shine and protection to the surface of the chair making it waterproof and more durable.
Paso 4: Pinta la silla, con la mezcla casera de color negro, impregna la brocha y aplícala por toda la superficie de la silla (por delante, por detrás, por arriba, por abajo). Está mezcla es fácil de aplicar, seca muy rápido, además de dar brillo y protección a la superficie de la silla haciéndola impermeable y más duradera.

Note: You can also use other factory products and cover the chair with a coat of plastic primer, plastic spray paint in the color of your choice and finish by applying a coat of clear plastic varnish.
Nota: también puedes usar otros productos de fábrica y cubrir la silla con una capa de imprimación para plástico, pintura en aerosol para plástico del color de tu preferencia y terminar aplicando una capa de barniz transparente para plástico.
Step 5: I show you the before and after of the plastic chair so you can appreciate the transformation.

Step 6: Decorate the chair with some cushions and make it much more comfortable.

I've never seen a plastic chair recycled, but if the paint holds, why not? Better than throw it away and buy a new one. Good idea and I love the outcome!
Greetings @erikah ! The good thing about that mixture I used or homemade waterproofing is that it holds and does not fall off so easily, it's like covering the chair with a layer of melted plastic. And having recycled it was a great idea, I'm glad you like the result.
No sabía que pintar las cillas de plástico con este material se viera tan asombrosa, de hecho se puede apreciar que la cilla ahora tiene mucha más resistencia, asombroso, me encanto el color que le agregaste, si hubieras usado el color blanco el color de esta seria marrón, muy ingenioso.
