My memories are what keep me going in the real world, which is completely crazy. These are steeped in love; from family and friends as well as partners.
Human beings need to be grounded in something to keep them going. Young people may not see it that way, but there will come a day when they will not be able to live without evoking their unforgettable moments.

I treasure all the gifts my husband has given me since we were sweethearts. It seems like yesterday, and soon it will be 29 years of marriage. Of all of them I keep only two rag dolls, the others I gave to my nieces when they were little girls. Only a white one and a black one survived.

have promoted this contest. To participate I'm bringing my cute white rag doll. Her name is Sol Del Valle. I renamed her today with this name because it's been so many years, and I don't remember what her original name was. It's an age thing.

I changed her dress, combed her pretty hair, and invited her to meet #Hive and the #HiveDiy Community.
Mis recuerdos son los que me mantienen en pie en el mundo real, el cual está completamente loco. Estos están impregnados de amor; tanto de la familia y amigos como de pareja.
Los seres humanos necesitan afianzarse en algo que les permita seguir adelante. Quizás los jóvenes no lo vean así, pero llegará un día en que no podrán vivir sin evocar sus momentos inolvidables.

Atesoro todos los regalos que me ha hecho mi esposo desde que éramos novios. Parece que fue ayer, y dentro de poco serán 29 años de casados. De todos conservo solo dos muñecas de trapo, las otras se las di a mis sobrinas cuando eran niñas. Solo sobrevivieron una blanca y una negrita.

han impulsado este concurso. Para participar traigo a mi linda muñeca de trapo blanca. Se llama Sol Del Valle. La volví a bautizar hoy con este nombre porque han pasado tanto años, y no recuerdo cuál era su nombre original. Son cosas de la edad.

As always, I leave everything to the last minute, however, the ambulance has not arrived yet and I'm still in time. I bring you a tutorial of how I did to change my rag doll's clothes. This is the second time in 29 years that I have done it.
Como siempre, todo lo dejo para última ahora, sin embargo no ha llegado la ambulancia y todavía estoy a tiempo. Les traigo un tutorial de como hice para cambiar de ropa a mi muñeca de trapo. Es la segunda vez en 29 años que lo hago.
A mustard-colored shirt, which I carelessly burned when I was ironing it.
White, orange, and aqua green thread.
Two fabric bows I made in orange.
White lace.
Colorful fabric with flowers and ladybugs.
Un par de medias tobilleras color anaranjado que no utilizo.
Una camisa color mostaza, la cual quemé por descuido cuando la planchaba.
Hilo de color blanco, anaranjado y verde agua.
Dos lazos de tela que hice de color anaranjado.
Encaje blanco.
Tela de colores con flores y mariquitas.

It should be noted that I hand sewed the clothes and made them on top of the rag doll. I tried the other way and couldn't because the girl is chubby. It was too uncomfortable but I made it.
Step 1: Wuao, I had a hard time undressing her because she didn't want to take off her dress. Poor thing, she thought I was going to bring her in naked. She also doesn't like to comb her hair just like me.
I convinced her because I told her I was going to meet a boy who has a beautiful voice and I was going to dedicate a song to him. This girl is fascinated by music, so I will talk to friend @ilazramusic to sing her a nice tune because I promised her. I hope my friend @dimeshana doesn't mind.
Cabe destacar que cosí a mano la ropita y se la hice encima de la muñeca de trapo. Intenté de la otra manera y no pude porque la niña es gordita. Se me hizo demasiado incómodo pero lo logré.
Paso 1: Wuao, me costó desnudarla porque no quería quitarse el vestido. Pobrecita, creyó que la iba a traer desnuda. Tampoco le gusta peinarse al igual que a mí.
La convencí porque le dije que iba a conocer un chico que tiene una voz hermosa y le iba a dedicar una canción. A esta niña le fascina la música, así que hablare con el amigo @ilazramusic para que le cante una linda melodía porque se lo prometí. Espero que la amiga @dimeshana no se moleste.

Step 2: I started with the pants. I recycled the mustard shirt, and cut it using as a pattern what I took from it. I put a coarse one on it and measured it.
Paso 2: Inicié con el pantaloncito. Reciclé la camisa mostaza, y la corté utilizando como patrón lo que le quité. Le puse una basta y se lo medí.

Step 3: I sewed the pants and put on white lace. I adjusted it in the body because it was a little bit.
I recycled the socks and used them as booties.
Paso 3: Cosí el pantaloncito y le puse un encaje blanco. Se lo ajusté en el cuerpo porque me quedó un poco grande.
Reciclé las medias y se las puse como botines.

Step 4: I cut the dress with the pattern and sewed double stitches to give it strength. Then I gathered it at the top to give it the drape.
Paso 4: El vestidito lo corté con el patrón y cosí doble para darle fuerza. Luego en la parte de arriba lo fruncí para que le diera la caída.

Step 5: I sewed the top part of the dress to the doll and then I made the cut to put the arms in.
Paso 5: Cosí la parte de arriba del vestidito a la muñeca y luego le hice el corte para meter los brazos.

Step 6: I made the beanie, cut a strip of 6 centimeters, folded it, and made pleats. Then I sewed it to the fabric I cut in a round shape. Then I stretched and gathered it.
Paso 6: Hice el gorrito, corté una tira de 6 centímetros, lo doblé y realicé plises. Luego lo cosí a la tela que corté en forma redonda. Despues lo estiré y fruncí.

Step 7: I glued the hat to the rag doll's head.
I combed the doll's hair, knitted some bows, and put two orange ribbons on it. I glued white and aqua green lace on the arms. I painted her cheeks pink.
Paso 7: Pegué el gorrito a la cabecita de la muñeca de trapo.
Peiné a la muñeca, le tejí unos moños y le puse dos lazos color anaranjado. Pegué en los brazos un encaje blanco y verde agua. Le pinté los cacheticos de color rosado.
