For the beta, gathering professions will be encounter and player based. Since daily encounters are limited per account, this means only a certain amount of gathering materials can be extracted on a daily basis.
For instance, let's say 10 accounts get on average 100 encounters per day. This means 100 attempts to gather materials, but not every end of battle will provide materials, some times u think you see a rock that may have materials but you get unlucky and spend ammo to extract it for nothing, some times it looks like a rock can be extracted but the game will tell you "not this time" and you wasted some ammo again, other times after attempting to extract from a legible rock you will get lucky and receive some materials from it.
So it will depend on players gathering levels, their equipment (capture device and ammo rarity), their luck and consistency in attempting to gather materials. Also, if you get beaten by a creature you don't get the chance to gather materials surrounding the battle, your daily encounters end as you have to go back home and rest up.
However, later on, when there is a "world" to explore and run around or bike around in, gathering materials will be a bit more spread out, so you need to be at the right place at the right time and hope no one else is around in case your first few attempts fail as it may give someone else a chance to attempt to gather while you're waiting for your cooldown to end. It'll be more competitive at that point to gather materials as you have to beat others to the punch.
Eso suena muy bien, practicamente es para poder darle oportunidad de que todos los que esten alli puedan reclectar algo y que la suerte este de su lado, como dices puede tocar algo o no. Sin embargo esto sera una gran ayuda para poder obtener recursos de un manera sencilla y solo explorando, me gusta y sera muy bueno.
