While this is quite a clickbaity title, there's some truth to it!
We've been working with @hivetrending on a new service we wanna slowly but surely roll out. It's nothing groundbreaking and I won't get into the details too much in this post, but I wanna go over what this means for our Holozing community and the members posting in there!
Retrospective
Retrospective rewards is something I really like, because as is the case here, they will reward community members without them having been made aware of it in time.
Let's get into what we have planned so you can imagine what it will look like!
Simply put, we will be scanning the chain for activities such as posts, comments, votes, reblogs, etc, of all members in the Holozing community ever since it was launched! This means that if you've posted there, commented, curated, etc, you will be assigned points for having done so.
Then, depending on how many points you have accumulated and in which activity, you'll be able to claim a new Holozing achievement!
This achievement will however not be an NFT as it remaining non-immutable is required for it to work well! This is because accounts that are muted in our community will naturally forfeit any achievement claims which in turn comes with Zing rewards. Thus, if for any reason accounts are muted in the future they will also stop earning Zing and lose their achievement.
As we've noticed on Hive, some times bad actors take a while to show their true colors, or they don't care to being upright community members any longer for one reason or another, thus we will reserve the right to close them out of our "proof of brain" rewards.
Now naturally, this isn't the same proof of brain as we get with Hive curation, or should get at least if others were playing by the same rules. This is more of a milestone event where upon reaching certain milestones you receive a "badge" you can claim and with it comes additional rewards for you to claim every 6 hours among your other rewards.
Thus, we are opening up the doors of community members being able to earn both hive and zing when participating in our community!

Anyway, this is a small teaser of our upcoming event. We will be scanning the chain for all activity the past two years, making sure everyone on the list is deserving of the badges still and then letting people claim their new achievements along with users being able to work towards the next rarity tier which enables a higher weight of collection rewards.
More info on weights, all available tiers and how much zing distribution will go towards these - to come in a later post, potentially on the offical @holozing account.
We recently also enabled zing rewards for creatures and items thanks to work done by @rishi556, so do check out the reward page and see how your 6 hourly claims may have changed in value! A post with details on weights to follow for that as well on the official account!

I LOVE retrospective return on investment. It's the people who are in it without thinking they are getting something that are the people you want in that community.
So knowing that even I will most likely not 'earn' a lot from this, I am happy for everyone who deserves it and wins it!

Seems like a good way to reward true potential players rather than the ground floor dumpers new things usually get. I also like the fact that ZING doesn't feel like a token people should necessarily hoard for capital appreciation. Rather its made to be used. The assets in the game are where the true value lies.

That's an interesting teaser! Also, community engagement is something almost required for the success of a game (and anything social, for that matter). So, I believe that's a important path to walk on.
Is it possible or will be possible to transfer assets from an account to other? Like the content of the vial or the vial itself. TIA for the answer.

You can still start earning by being active in the community, as long as you don't start spamming or getting yourself muted for some other abusive reasons!
Seeing it in action can inspire other communities as well.
