When I went for a short walk a couple of hours ago ...

... I noticed a relatively rare cloud formation above the port of my hometown. I mean it's not something very rare or amazing, but I don't see often clouds like this that form a belt along the horizon.
The pattern looked a bit like the structure of those wicker baskets or something like that. Well, at least to me. :) That's the origin story behind the title of the post.

The minuscule black dot in the center of this enlargeable photograph is a seagull. It looks more like a mosquito, though. The cool cloud pattern is also visible in the background.
Here I zoomed in on another seagull. I zoomed to the edge of my camera's zooming capability, and the pattern disappeared from sight.

The seagull in this photograph is flying above the pattern.
Here you can see another landscape shot with the boats and the shallow bay under the clouds. With the clear sky above the cloud pattern cut out of the shot, the scenery has a different feel. The photograph kind of suggests that the whole dome of the sky looks like this.

Beautiful seaside images on a cloudy day, @borjan. I have always liked this small fishing marinas. They look so relaxing.
Are those ships of merchants, or kinda cargo?
Mostly fishing boats. And small leisure boats to go to the beach of the nearest islets.
It looks like the clouds really support your presence there, they seem to line up neatly to let you shoot them. 😁😁🥰🥰
