My contest entry #118
This evening we dashed down to Fishoek beach for a quick evening walk before dinner around the corner from the beach. My husbands been working long hours so it’s unusual for us to make it to the before dark midweek.
But this evening the wind was light and the sun seemed to set that tiny bit later as we slowly creep towards Spring. I say slowly because we still have a good deal of cold weather coming our way before we can actually call it Spring. It might be 2 weeks til the first of September but we are known to have small snowfalls right up until the end of September.
The light and clouds seemed to change every couple minutes as we walked the beach, making a stormy water colour effect in the sky.
We kept an eye on the life saving team training in the breakers ahead of us as the sky turned pink and we made our way back for dinner at a nearby restaurant.

Aaaaw! Thank you! It was such a lovely winters evening and then it just poured down with rain last night. Everything is feeling fresh and clean this morning and I did another short local hike with the ladies at dawn. It’s so good to get outside even if it’s cold. Hope you’re well!
