Unfortunately this family pattern you describe here is not unique, it's very common and leaves deep wounds in people, which can have serious consequences in life. Thank you very much Erikah! I appreciate your words. Is not common to find open minded people willing to change toxic patterns and know the struggle that means on an emotional level. Yes, it has been a journey so far to break free from my habits, but with each pattern broken I grow confident. So this is what I think: If I can do this, then anyone can. So I am using my experience to try and give hope to those struggling. Easier said than done! The mind is so tricky! Haha.
