Día Internacional del Hombre. 19 de noviembre.
La celebración del Día Internacional del Hombre, es relativamente nueva, si tomamos en consideración que esa esefeméride comenzó el 19 de noviembre de 1992 por parte del profesor Thomas Oaster, de la Universidad Missouri- Kansas.
Esta es una fecha que se asimila al Día del Padre que en países tiene diferentes fechas, pero difiere en que no todo hombre es padre.
Con el transcurrir del tiempo el hombre ha venido logrando buenos niveles de reputación aunque,
por supuesto, hay quienes asumen conductas negativas, machistas y taxativas con las que pretenden que la mujer sea el sexo débil. Po cierto, esta definición no la comparto porque hay féminas tan fuertes como los hombres en diferentes aspectos.
En el hogar, la figura del hombre se equipara y conjuga con la de la mujer, y es por ello que la equidad y la igualdad cada día adquieren mayor relevancia.
Hombre no es solo quien procrea, sino quien atiende y responde a los principios asignados, y hoy felicito a los hombres que reúnen los méritos suficientes y dignos de nuestra sociedad.
