Todos tenemos talento, lo importante es reconocerlo y aprovecharlo.
No sé si la creatividad o el ser talentoso se hereda o se adquiere con estudio, pero si sé que mi mamá algo tuvo que ver con el desarrollo de mis habilidades, pues desde siempre nos inculcó a mis hermanos y a mí el disfrute por el arte y nos ayudó a tener confianza en el desarrollo nuestros proyectos. En mi casa siempre hubo creyones, pinturas, hojas, y mucho material de papelería que de alguna forma nos incentivó a ser más creativos.
Tengo muchos hobbies manuales, me gusta aprender y realizar cosas con mis propias manos. Ver el resultado final siempre es gratificante cuando fuiste tú quien lo hizo posible. Mi mamá es Artista Plástico y realiza bellezas pintando con diferentes materiales. Esta publicación la dedicaré a mi hermano @leonardoj333, porque si hay alguien en esta vida a quien quiero promocionar, es a él, a José Leonardo Jiménez Jaime.
José Leonardo Jiménez Jaime, un genio genial en la vida de muchos
Mi hermano Leo (así lo llamamos todos) desde pequeñito ha sido muy curioso y habilidoso. Posee una inteligencia y una gran capacidad para recordar y aprender que realmente me sorprende. Cuando estaba pequeño se iba entusiasmando mensualmente con algún oficio y decía que era "eso" lo que sería de grande, por ejemplo, si veía a un albañil, se le plantaba al lado y lo bombardeaba con toda clase de preguntas, luego terminaba diciendo "Cuando yo sea grande, quiero ser albañil" Teníamos un tío paterno que era electricista y cada vez que reparaba algo en casa mi hermano le hacía su gran lista de preguntas y después decía, "Cuando sea grande quiero ser electricista" Llegó a decir que sería; bombero, salvavidas, camionero, pelotero, soldado (porque le gustaban los temas de la banda marcial militar) chofer de autobús, constructor, chef, pintor, sastre y pare usted de contar.
A sus 37 años lo miro y puedo decir que sabe de todo un poquito. En casa es el "handyman" manitas y persona que lo soluciona todo. Hace un año y medio se mudó y todavía lo llamamos cuando hay que arreglar alguna avería, y es que le mete a todo. Nos ayuda con las computadoras cuando se alocan, con los aires acondicionados, la electricidad, las tuberías, los electrodomésticos y más. Su nombre es el primero que se nos ocurre cuando hay que llamar a "alguien".
Pero queridos amigos, mi hermano no está siendo promocionado en esta publicación por sus talentos y habilidades con la reparación e ingenio en la búsqueda de soluciones. Hoy le hago propaganda al talento de mi hermano con la música.

Y no lo digo porque sea mi hermano y esté híper orgullosa de él, lo digo porque es así, porque se ha ganado un puesto privilegiado en el corazón de muchos Sanfernandinos (Somos de San Fernando de Apure, Venezuela) a raíz de su destreza y talento musical.
Desde muy temprana edad demostró inmenso amor hacia la música, y aparte de disfrutar el escucharla, también se interesó por aprender a ejecutar diferentes tipos de instrumentos. Cuando aprendió a dominar el cuatro, disfruté de interpretar muchas canciones mientras él le sacaba sonidos a aquel instrumentos que todavía lo acompaña y de quién es ahora creador, porque años después se preparó para ser luthier y empezó a fabricar con gran destreza cuatros, bandolas, maracas y otros instrumentos.
Ha sido maestro de música, director de agrupaciones corales y orquestales en los que he tenido la dicha de formar parte. Siempre me impresiona su talento para realizar arreglos para coros y quintetos que luego enseña con paciencia y dedicación. No se le escapa detalle y cómo participante coralista, eso me ha dejado grandes enseñanzas. También trabajó como técnico en un estudio de grabación, y disfruto mucho al escuchar los temas en los que pudo participar, grabando con el contrabajo. Ha sido músico en diversos tipos de agrupaciones musicales y actualmente trabaja en el mundo de la música ranchera, pues aparte de fabricar hermosos instrumentos, es mariachi junto a su esposa y sus hijos.
Me siento muy orgullosa cuando sus alumnos lo mencionan, pues se siente en sus palabras el afecto y la gratitud hacia ese profesor que con cariño y esmero les ha enseñado muchas cosas en el ámbito musical.
Hace pocos meses presentaron en la sala de conciertos de mi ciudad, la obra emblemática llanera, llamada "Apure en un viaje" (del compositor Jenaro Prieto) Fue ejecutada por la Orquesta Sinfónica de nuestro estado y es para mí, un gran orgullo contarles que fue mi hermano José Leonardo Jiménez, quién realizó el arreglo para orquesta de esta bonita obra llanera.
En fin, mi hermano posee muchos talentos y estoy feliz de hacerle reconocimiento y promocionar sus increíbles habilidades.
Él no para, siempre está aprendiendo y eso es maravilloso. Esta semana está iniciando nuevos estudios en el mundo de la luthería. Aprenderá a realizar instrumentos como contrabajos, violas y violines, él va por más y en el nombre de Dios le irá muy bien porque se lo merece.

My mom is a Plastic Artist and she creates beauties by painting with different materials. My brother Leo (that's what we all call him) has been very curious and skillful since he was little. He has an intelligence and a great capacity to remember and learn that really surprises me. And I'm not saying this because he's my brother and I'm hyper-proud of him, I say this because that's the way it is, because he has earned a privileged position in the hearts of many Sanfernandinos (We are from San Fernando de Apure, Venezuela) as a result of his skill and musical talent.
From an early age he showed immense love for music, and apart from enjoying listening to it, he was also interested in learning to play different types of instruments. When he learned to master the cuatro, I enjoyed performing many songs while he extracted sounds from that instrument that still accompanies him and whose creator he is now, because years later he prepared himself to be a luthier and began to skillfully manufacture cuatros, bandolas, maracas and other instruments.
He has been a music teacher, director of choral and orchestral groups in which I have had the pleasure of being a part. I am always impressed by his talent for arranging and then teaching it with patience and dedication. No detail escapes him and as a choral participant, that has left me great lessons. He also worked as a technician in a recording studio, and I really enjoyed listening to the songs he was able to participate in, recording with the double bass. He has been a musician in various types of musical groups and currently works in the world of ranchera music, because apart from making beautiful instruments, he is a mariachi with his wife and children.
I feel very proud when his students mention him, because you can feel in his words the affection and gratitude towards that teacher who with love and care has taught them many things in the musical field.
A few months ago they presented in the concert hall of my city, the emblematic llanera work, called "Apure en un viaje" (by composer Jenaro Prieto) It was performed by the Symphony Orchestra of our state and it is a great pride for me to tell you that it was my brother José Leonardo Jiménez, who made the arrangement for orchestra of this beautiful llanera work.
Anyway, my brother is very talented and I am happy to recognize and promote his amazing skills.
He doesn't stop, he's always learning and that's wonderful. This week he is starting new studies in the world of luthiery. He will learn to perform instruments such as double basses, violas and violins, he goes for more and in God's name it will go very well for him because he deserves it.
