What a sweet poem. It's nice to see a creative response like this.

When you say the 'experts know what to do' with recycling, the problem here is that a lot of it gets shipped to other countries or goes to landfill anyway. I'm not a big believer in recycling as it's just an excuse to consume and then pass your waste on for someone else to deal with. I think it's better to just not buy shit that needs to be recycled - if it's RE-USEABLE that's a different story. Refuse and reuse are my recycles.

And it's the same with the products we use - paints and chemicals etc. It's better to try to find a more natural alternative, though that can be hard sometimes, I know.

Thank you very much for your comment, you are very right, but you must also bear in mind that with the anxieties of modern life, there is also the facility to obtain time, and every day we see more products packed in plastic (soups, cakes, rice, cold drinks, etc.). Family food is being lost and we frequently go to fast food places, plates and plastic cups, etc., etc., etc. If there is no way to stop it at an industrial level, we can at least try it at home; after all, there are more families than factories.
And I agree, it is better to buy your drinks in glass bottles instead of plastic containers, but with this pandemic situation, the use of plastic containers has increased much more, so large factories avoid the sterilization of some and increase production of others.
It would be great not to buy products that need to be recycled, but when the options are shortened, then you have to try to recycle. Remember that recycling is giving the product another cycle, a few damaged discs; it could become a wall clock, to say something.
