Feliz Inicio de Mes para todos, hoy iniciando el mes de junio (donde se celebra el día del padre en Venezuela) es propicio unirme a un concurso bastante original y divertido impulsado por la amiga @lisfabian donde nos invita a escribir sobre nuestro padre, creando así una publicación dedicada sólo a él, además ella menciona que ya basta de decir que "los padres no dan nada", es hora de que reconozcamos su valor e importancia en nuestras vidas y en la sociedad.
He sido totalmente bendecida y afortunada por crecer junto a mi padre y no sólo eso, sino de poder gozar de esa figura paterna responsable, amorosa, atento y protector que todos necesitamos en la vida.
Mi padre se llama Pedro Rodríguez, es un hombre extremadamente inteligente, es abogado, fue profesor de Derecho y ahora ama la agricultura. En sus tiempos de juventud me cuenta que era un chico muy despistado, no le importaba pensar en su futuro o estudiar, incluso se dedicaba a escribir poemas y se hacía llamar "Pedro Pueblo", incluso tiene un libro de poemas; cuando descubrí esto me sorprendí muchísimo porque viéndolo tan serio no me imaginé que a la vez podía ser tan dulce (para aquellos tiempos).
Mi padre y yo como ya podrán notar tenemos muy buena comunicación, él es un hombre bastante tranquilo, es amoroso y ante cualquier situación logra mantener la calma y ofrecer buenos consejos.
Tengo varias anécdotas divertidas que contarles, la primera no la recuerdo personalmente porque fue en el momento de mi nacimiento pero cada vez que me la cuentan me rió a carcajadas. Fue aquel día cuando mi mamá estaba a punto de dar a luz y él nervioso la llevó al hospital y le decía a mi madre que estaría con ella en todo el proceso, pero una vez que estaba en la sala de parto mi papá con los nervios se fue jajajaja simplemente se fue a casa, prefirió esperar allá las buenas noticias y regresar cuando ya había nacido.
Otra anécdota es cuando tenía 6 o 7 años, el solía contarnos a mis hermanas y a mí historias o cuentos que él mismo inventaba, además de cantarnos muchas canciones, recuerdo muy bien la historia de "la niñita buena y la niñita mala" era mi preferida, pero también jugaba con nosotras, una de sus historias era una especie de juego donde me hacía ver como que estuviera en una discoteca, de repente él llegaba y decía "que muchacha tan linda vamos a bailar" y mientras bailábamos empezaba el diálogo con esa "muchacha", me preguntaba "cuantos años tienes" "de dónde eres" "cómo se llaman tus padres" y cuando le respondía todo me decía "sinvergüenza váyase para la casa" y hacia cómo que nos pegaba y regañaba jajaja xD.
Mi papá siempre ha estado a mi lado, apoyándome y orientándome en todo momento, ha sido un compañero fiel a pesar de sus ocupaciones y trabajo. Siempre me acompañó a los eventos escolares, a esos donde muchas veces sólo van las madres, pues él estaba presente, en todas mis presentaciones de proyectos, en todo evento o actividad podía verlo y sentir su presencia.
Él representa un pilar firme y fuerte en el que me sostuve y sigo sosteniendo, su inteligencia y dedicación de padre es lo que más admiro, el amor con que me habla, me orienta y me enseña es increíble, tanto así que aún con 25 años al hablarle de esta plataforma me dice "¿hija en que puedo ayudarte? " "¿quieres que te hable o explique sobre algo para que escribas en tu blog?".
Gracias papito hermoso por ser tan especial, por enseñarme el valor de una familia unida, por demostrarme que la educación es indispensable en la vida y que con decisión, determinación, diligencia y disciplina (el lo llama método 4D) puedo lograr todo lo que me proponga.
La figura paterna siempre será importante en la vida de todo niño, es necesario que dejemos atrás culturas que no nos enseñan nada bueno y que más bien denigran de los padres con canciones o juegos que desde hace mucho dejaron de ser ciertos. Los padres también son parte de la creación de la vida y merecen el respeto, amor y reconocimiento debido.
Disfrutemos de nuestros padres, abuelos, tíos, hermanos, son hombres fuertes y valientes que intentan ser los mejores pilares para sus familias.

I have been totally blessed and fortunate to grow up with my father and not only that, but to be able to enjoy that responsible, loving, caring and protective father figure that we all need in life.
My father's name is Pedro Rodriguez, he is an extremely intelligent man, he is a lawyer, a former law professor and now loves agriculture. In his youth he tells me that he was a very absent-minded boy, he did not care to think about his future or study, he even dedicated himself to writing poems and called himself "Pedro Pueblo", he even has a book of poems; when I discovered this I was very surprised because seeing him so serious I did not imagine that at the same time he could be so sweet (for those times).
My father and I, as you may have noticed, have a very good communication, he is a very calm man, he is loving and in any situation he manages to keep calm and offer good advice.
I have several funny anecdotes to tell you, the first one I don't remember personally because it was at the time of my birth but every time they tell it to me I laugh out loud. It was that day when my mom was about to give birth and he nervously took her to the hospital and told my mom that he would be with her throughout the process, but once she was in the delivery room my dad with nerves left hahahaha he just went home, he preferred to wait there for the good news and return when she was already born.
Another anecdote is when I was 6 or 7 years old, he used to tell my sisters and me stories or tales that he himself invented, besides singing us many songs, I remember very well the story of "the good little girl and the bad little girl" was my favorite, but he also played with us, one of his stories was a kind of game where he made me look like I was in a discotheque, suddenly he would arrive and say "what a pretty girl we are going to dance" and while we were dancing he would start a dialogue with that "girl", he would ask me "how old are you" "where are you from" "what are your parents' names" and when I answered everything he would say "you scoundrel go home" and he would pretend to hit us and scold us hahaha xD.
My dad has always been by my side, supporting me and guiding me at all times, he has been a faithful companion in spite of his occupations and work. He always accompanied me to school events, those where many times only mothers go, because he was present, in all my project presentations, in every event or activity I could see him and feel his presence.
His intelligence and dedication as a father is what I admire the most, the love with which he talks to me, guides me and teaches me is incredible, so much so that even at 25 years old when I talk to him about this platform he tells me "daughter, how can I help you" "do you want me to talk to you or explain something for you to write in your blog?
Thank you beautiful daddy for being so special, for teaching me the value of a united family, for showing me that education is indispensable in life and that with decision, determination, diligence and discipline (he calls it 4D method) I can achieve everything I set my mind to.
The father figure will always be important in the life of every child, it is necessary that we leave behind cultures that do not teach us anything good and rather denigrate the parents with songs or games that have long ceased to be true. Parents are also part of the creation of life and deserve the respect, love and recognition they deserve.
Let's enjoy our fathers, grandfathers, uncles, brothers, they are strong and brave men who try to be the best pillars for their families.
