Ouch mate, that's so grim. Poor you and poor fish. And the shrimp too, it looked like an interesting little guy. I was thinking of getting a shrimp or two but was worried they might attack my fish and I couldn't afford to lose any more.

Glad you didn't lose all of them though. Tank still looks awesome!

Yeah, that was realy a situation you want to avoid.
Yeah, shrimps are the best and I can totaly recomand them!
If you have neons and no big fish, then small neo cardina shrimps would fitt perfect,





They are red or blue depending on the breed,





👆 On the left there is a brown one as well which is the wildform, you get a mix if you den't call them if you know what I mean.

And if you have bigger fish, go for molluken shrimps, ethen dough they need a streamer.

Also amano shrimps are bigger, but they do not reproduce in sweetwater, they need brackwater for the young to develop.

Ok that wet a bit off topic, tldr, get shrimps,

• Neo cardina are the small ones (get eaten by big fish)
• Mollukken shrimps are up to 7cm but need a streamer, and more space.
• Amano shrimps are big, but allways only transparent and do not reproduce.
• All this shrimps only eat fish when they are already dead, never would atack one.
• Having them is a awsome clean up crew.
