Hello dear visual #Hive friends!... We are in the middle of May, here the rains have started and the weather changes radically. The skies with low clouds generate a frank and even luminosity as if it were the reflection of a huge white canvas suspended above the whole town... Then, going out to take pictures in the usual streets becomes something slightly different; people seem to behave to the rhythm of the weather and start appearing everywhere, giving the misleading sensation of being in a more lively town, similar to the one of my youth...
¡Hola queridos amigos visuales de #Hive!... Estamos en pleno mes de Mayo, aquí comenzaron las lluvias y el clima cambia radicalmente. Los cielos con nubes bajas generan una luminosidad franca y pareja como si se tratase del reflejo de un enorme lienzo blanco suspendido encima de todo el pueblo... Entonces, salir a hacer fotos por las calles de siempre se torna en algo medianamente distinto; la gente parece comportarse al ritmo del clima y comienza a aparecer por todas partes, brindando la sensación engañosa de estar en un pueblo más vivaz y parecido a el de mis años de juventud...
However, to be honest, I have to confess that these photos correspond to a day in which some particular things happen and which affect the daily life of the village. There are two things; firstly, many families have just received subsidies and social aid from the government and secondly, fuel (petrol and diesel) has arrived at the only petrol station in the village. So, this makes people take to the streets to spend the money they have received for their livelihood and the owners of old trucks and buses take them to the streets in order to be refuelled. These are the strange things that happen in these villages far from the big cities... Life often dances to the rhythm of such strange things as the delivery of populist aid and the ‘miracle’ of the appearance of fuel that is usually in short supply...
Sin embargo y para ser sincero, he de confesar que estas fotos corresponden a un día en el que pasan algunas cosas particulares y las cuales afectan la cotidianidad del pueblo. Se trata de dos cosas; la primera: Muchas familias acaban de recibir subvenciones y ayudas sociales provenientes del gobierno y lo segundo: Ha llegado combustible (gasolina y diesel) a la única estación de servicio del pueblo. Entonces, esto hace que las personas salgan a las calles a gastar el dinero que han recibido para su subsistencia y los dueños de viejos camiones y autobuses los llevan a las calles con el objetivo de ser surtidos de combustible... ¡Estas son las cosas extrañas que pasan en estos pueblos alejados de las ciudades grandes!... La vida suele bailar al ritmo de cosas tan extrañas como la entrega de ayudas populistas y el "milagro" de la aparición del combustible por lo general escaso...
I generally prefer my streets lonely. I'm a hopeless romantic for simple scenes with few people... I took these pictures during an unplanned and determined walk shortly after a half day when my irregular mood (‘irregular’ is an understatement, I'm actually something like ‘the ultimate exponent of bi-polarity’) suddenly flared up and I wanted to go out and calm down a bit by taking some pictures as therapy... So the messy and chaotic complexity of some of these images probably had something to do with my state of mind when capturing them.
Yo generalmente prefiero mis calles solitarias... Soy un romántico empecinado con las escenas simples y con poca gente... Estas fotos las hice durante una caminata imprevista y decidida poco después de un medio día en la que mi irregular humor ("irregular" es un eufemismo, en realidad soy algo así como "el máximo exponente de la bi-polaridad) estalló repentinamente y quise salir a calmarme un poco haciendo algunas fotos como terapia... Así que la complejidad desprolija y caótica de algunas de estas imágenes seguramente tuvo que ver con mi estado de animo al capturarlas.

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.
NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.

Friend, how you describe the experiences of your town through the photos. There was one that impressed me a lot because I saw many cables on the power lines, it looked like a spider web, Look, I complain about that in my city, I think a big problem could happen because of it, but after seeing your photo I think I'll calm down hehe. As always, great work from you 👌🏽
