Late summer. The water splashes on the waves, reflections, sail. Deeper colours as the sun has started setting earlier. Around 7 or so. The cry of a seagull overhead and things seem to stand still in this moment in time. The expanse of the ocean, the mountain ranges, the turbulent sky makes me think about the totality of experience. It's good for the mind to expand sometimes and contract its focus when required.

Pure light scatters as it bounces off the stuff that lies between spaces. Zoom! Zap! Splash!
A bunch of complicated stuff happens inside our parent star, and then as a result, photons of light are released in solar beams that interact with our planet. Imagine all the parts of the spectrum we miss because of light's interaction with the environment and simply because we don’t have the sensory equipment to detect them (e.g., UV rays, infrared, heat, etc). The image we see is the final neural creation based on a limited range of information from the light spectrum. Still, in spite of these limits, what we see is a marvel.

The waves continued to lap on the shore with a soothing whooshing sound.
Jet skiers splashed the water. A few seals too.
Laughter. Murmuring words. Shouts. Faces coming and going. I hear Jim Morrison’s words waft through the air
“…where will we be, when the summer’s gone?”

Thank you!
Summer is over, at least in terms of the calendar, although it's still hot... wherever we are, enjoying the beautiful autumn. What great shots!
The days are getting shorter and cooler here. The leaves are turning colour and falling. Now, it's officially Fall 🍂
