Pocas veces utilizo el teléfono celular para hacer las fotos de mis excursiones, me parece más cómodo usar la cámara, pero me ha pasado que a veces no la he cargado el día anterior y me toca optar por el teléfono si no quiero perderme esos momentos y paisajes.
I rarely use the cell phone to take pictures of my excursions, I find it more comfortable to use the camera, but sometimes I have not charged it the day before and I have to opt for the phone if I don't want to miss those moments and landscapes.
Las imágenes que les comparto en esta ocasión son de una ruta que hice al Cañón del río Guaire y la Estación Hidroeléctrica El Encantado, lugares que quedan en el municipio El Hatillo, estado Miranda (Venezuela). Como verán, la calidad de las tomas no es la mejor, el teléfono que usaba en ese momento no tenía una buena cámara, sin embargo me gustan estas fotos.
The images I share with you this time are from a route I took to the Guaire River Canyon and El Encantado Hydroelectric Station, places that are in the municipality of El Hatillo, Miranda state (Venezuela). As you will see, the quality of the shots is not the best, the phone I was using at the time didn't have a good camera, however I like these photos.
Fíjense cómo en estas tomas generales de la primera parte de la excursión, se percibe lo opaco del clima de ese día, había mucho polvo en la atmósfera y las fotos salieron algo granuladas, hasta parecen analógicas.
Notice how in these general shots of the first part of the excursion, you can perceive how opaque the weather was that day, there was a lot of dust in the atmosphere and the photos came out somewhat grainy, they even look analog.
Luego, a medida que dejamos esta parte despejada y nos adentramos en un bosque, la atmósfera se veía más clara y la luz cambió. El sol no nos alcanzaba directamente, entonces las nubes y esa iluminación blanca que desprenden le dieron otro toque a las imágenes.
Then, as we left this clear area and entered a forest, the atmosphere became clearer and the light changed. The sun was not hitting us directly, so the clouds and the white illumination they give off gave another touch to the images.
Llegamos al sitio donde se encuentra la planta hidroeléctrica abandonada y nos impresionamos con su historia y con la manera en que la naturaleza se apoderó de estas instalaciones. La Estación Hidroeléctrica El Encantado, como se llama oficialmente, comenzó a operar en 1897, siendo la primera de este tipo en el país y la segunda en Latinoamérica. Suministró energía eléctrica a Caracas hasta 1911, cuando, debido al crecimiento de la población, se construyeron otras para satisfacer la demanda.
We arrived at the site of the abandoned hydroelectric plant and were impressed by its history and the way nature took over these facilities. El Encantado Hydroelectric Station, as it is officially called, began operating in 1897, being the first of its kind in the country and the second in Latin America. It provided electric power to Caracas until 1911, when, due to population growth, others were built to meet the demand.
Nuestra ruta continuó al lado del caudaloso río Guaire, bien conocido por todos en Caracas ya que atraviesa la ciudad y está contaminado lamentablemente, pero seguro pocos han visto esta otra cara de él, totalmente salvaje.
Our route continued next to the mighty Guaire River, well known by everyone in Caracas as it crosses the city and is unfortunately polluted, but surely few have seen this other side of it, totally wild.
Estaba sorprendida, quería captar varias partes del cañón del río Guaire con sus enormes rocas, árboles y cerros alrededor. En estas tomas los blancos y grises opacaron un poco el verdor ¿no creen?
I was surprised, I wanted to capture several parts of the Guaire river canyon with its huge rocks, trees and hills around. In these shots the whites and grays overshadowed the greenery a bit, don't you think?
Los paisajes impactantes continuaron, en la última parte de la ruta llegamos a la formación geológica Peñón de las Guacas, aquí hay una pasarela hecha de concreto entre las enormes rocas de la montaña.
The impressive landscapes continued, in the last part of the route we reached the geological formation Peñon de las Guacas, here there is a concrete walkway between the huge rocks of the mountain.
En algunas partes sientes que la roca caerá sobre tu cabeza en cualquier momento, pero cuando la tocas te das cuenta de que es muy sólida.
In some parts you feel that the rock will fall on your head at any moment, but when you touch it you realize that it is very solid.

Digamos que son fotos vintage jaja. Es increíble como te acostumbras a la calidad de una nueva cámara después de un tiempo. Mi celu anterior también tenia una cámara de 16mpx pero igual me ayudó con todas las publicaciones de mi primer año en Hive. Ahora pasé a 64 mpx y si bien se ve un poco mejor, estaría buenísimo tener una cámara profesional:D

Jajaja sí, podrían decirse vintage, dada la rapidez con la que avanza la tecnología celular...
El teléfono con el que hice estas fotos lo tuve como por 5 años pero tomé pocas fotos con él, suelo usar mi camara digital, que aunque no es profesional tiene buenas características, y el celular que tengo hace como dos años sí tiene una cámara muy buena, creo que debería usarla más jejeje.
