I've said it here before, but today I'll say it again. I find myself liking autumn more and more. When I was younger, summer was the only season I liked. Perhaps this was largely because of the long vacations.
Nowadays, as I no longer enjoy the heat, and I take vacations when I want, the last months of the year have become my favorites. The fact that I walk a lot more these days also makes me more attentive to the signs of change in nature around me...
The days are getting shorter, but the colors of the leaves and the sky are becoming more and more interesting.
Sometimes we are led to think that autumn is something that can be more depressing, and linked to death or departure.
But these are just transitions. Winter arrives little by little, stripping the trees of their leaves... But not to end the beauty of the green treetops, but rather to prepare them for the next spring.
Nature is perfect... It is simply doing its job of gradually clearing away what is no longer needed... creating opportunities and giving something new a chance to grow.
