In a heartbeat, grenades were launched and the Wendigos all shrieked in pain as they were blown away by the grenades. Breya staggered from the effect of their attack and grenades blast. She then closed her eyes as she began tapping into her ancestral connection, the emerald stone on her chest began to glow excessively and multiple voices began to speak through her in Old Norse language saying;
"What was created can be destroyed, what was not planted cannot take root, thus we summoned the power of Odin, the god of Norse and the power of Odin clan that we possess to destroy you all!"
With that, Breya used her hand to draw the pattern of Odin clan symbol and then she infused it with the power of emerald stone attached to her chest. She then began to swirl her hands in circular motion as the wind from the East obeyed her command by gathering in a tornado-like energy form. She continued with the circular motion until there were multiple flashes of lightning in it.
Breya took a deep breath and briskly let go of the tornado-like energy as a clap of thunder occurred immediately. The energy massive ball was released which sent a blasting energy straight to all the Wendigos hearts respectively. Afterwards, they all turned into white statues and then they crumbled into fine dust with the wind blowing them away.
There came a sudden muteness, a certain calmness, a certain peace and the sense of victory gradually spread throughout the city. Breya fell to her knees as the emerald stone had burnt into lung cavity. Gasping for air, she laid on her back holding to life barely as Col. Jason and other men and women in uniform came to her rescue bringing all the medical help they could. Breya blinked twice as she went into a deep sleep which seemed as if she was dead.
Three months later after the war….
Breya blinked her eyes open as a familiar voice brought her to consciousness, Fabien her close colleague.
"Hey! Sleepy chocolate head. You scared me to death. Thought you were gone forever." Fabien said he held Breya's hands in his.
Breya tried looking around to see where she was when Fabien assisted her to sit up. She couldn't talk yet. Her voice is coarse, her throat sore from not being used for three months. Breya smiles as she sees the gigantic Christmas tree outside of the room she is in. Decorated beautifully with lovely ornaments and balloons were hung in every corner of her room as she realized it was Christmas.
Taking in her environment, Col Jason and all of her colleagues came bearing gifts with lots of beautiful flowers, cookies and teddy bears. Breya could see their excitement. It warmed up her and gave her inner peace.
"You made it to Christmas! Thank you for your service officer Parker, you have given us a chance to celebrate Christmas again." Col Jason said to Breya.
"MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE!"
Fabien yelled as everyone cheered together.
