Samantha was so happy when Selima told her she will be coming home from school soon because it was her birthday the following day. She always loves it when her sister comes home to celebrate her birthday with her because that was when they both normally have their fun time more in a whole year due to Selima's schooling.
Samantha was on her bed just remembering when they were still little, how they always played around the house with no worries of what's going to happen next. Selima loved Samantha just as much because it was just the two of them their parents gave birth to. Selima is just a year and some months older than Samantha because their parents were so in love and they wanted their little girl not to be alone for too long.
Selima and Samantha had lost their parents at a very young age and they were so happy they have themselves. No matter how much they fight some times, they always end up smiling with each other because they knew they were all that they had. The night was a really long one for Samantha because all she wanted was for the next day to arrive so she could see her beloved sister.
After so much turning on her pinky soft bed, she slept of and she had a beautiful dream of herself and her sister. The thought of her sister was so much that she had a dream with her sister in it. You could see her smiling all through the night because of how amazing her dream was.
Waking up the next day, she heard some noise coming from the living room, she was alone so why was it as if there was someone in the house, Samantha wondered. Still in doubt as to if she was hearing some noise or it was really from the living room, she quickly stood up from her bed and it was then she remembered her sister had a spare key to the house, so she quickly tiptoed to the living room and to see who it really was.
No way!!! Mum? She exclaimed!!! How are you here, selima told me you were gone?
Sweetie, yes, I was gone but now I'm here, her mother replied.
But mum, how did you get the key to my apartment? There's only one person I know that has the keys here and that's Selima.
Well, I'm here now so there's no need for too many questions right?
Uhmm, yes mum.... Samantha replied still feeling there was something not right.
Her mum had prepared breakfast and asked Samantha to join her. Samantha was so confused and curious at the same time and she quickly took her sit by her mother's side ready to ask more questions. At this point, her mother already knew what she was going to start asking questions, so she quickly advised Samantha not to speak while eating.
Samantha decided then not to say a word, so she had to eat as quickly as she could. She quickly took the dishes to the dish washer and came back to meet her mother. She was so curious to hear how come her mother was at her place (at this point, she was more concerned of her mother than her beloved sister). So mom tell me what happened to you, because Selima told me you and dad were no more, so how come you are here? Samantha asked, because she wanted to know what was happening.
While Samantha was still waiting for her mom to give her an answer to her question, she saw tears rolling down her mother's cheek. What's wrong mom? Samantha asked thinking she had said something wrong.
Nothing Samantha, I just remembered those days when we had mum and dad here with us.
What! Did you just say mum and dad? Samantha said with a big burst out of laughter, she just remembered Selena had the power to transform to anyone she wishes to. They both gave themselves a very tight hug and they just had to cry a little more because of how much they missed their parents.

Samantha estaba tan feliz cuando Selima le dijo que pronto regresaría de la escuela porque era su cumpleaños al día siguiente. Siempre le encanta cuando su hermana llega a casa para celebrar su cumpleaños con ella porque es entonces cuando ambas normalmente se divierten más en todo un año debido a la educación de Selima.
Samantha estaba en su cama recordando cuando aún eran pequeños, cómo siempre jugaban en la casa sin preocuparse de lo que sucedería a continuación. Selima amaba tanto a Samantha porque sus padres solo las dieron a luz a ellas dos. Selima es solo un año y algunos meses mayor que Samantha porque sus padres estaban muy enamorados y querían que su pequeña no estuviera sola por mucho tiempo.
Selima y Samantha habían perdido a sus padres a una edad muy temprana y estaban muy felices de tenerse a sí mismos. No importa cuánto peleen algunas veces, siempre terminan sonriendo el uno con el otro porque sabían que eran todo lo que tenían. La noche fue muy larga para Samantha porque lo único que quería era que llegara el día siguiente para poder ver a su amada hermana.
Después de tanto dar vueltas en su suave cama rosada, se durmió y tuvo un hermoso sueño de ella y su hermana. El pensamiento de su hermana era tanto que tuvo un sueño con su hermana en él. Podías verla sonriendo durante toda la noche por lo increíble que era su sueño.
Al despertarse al día siguiente, escuchó un ruido proveniente de la sala de estar, estaba sola, entonces, ¿por qué era como si hubiera alguien en la casa?, se preguntó Samantha. Todavía con la duda de si estaba escuchando algún ruido o si realmente provenía de la sala de estar, rápidamente se levantó de la cama y fue entonces cuando recordó que su hermana tenía una llave de repuesto de la casa, por lo que rápidamente se dirigió de puntillas a la sala de estar. habitación y ver quién era realmente.
¡¡¡De ninguna manera!!! ¿Mamá? ¡¡¡Ella exclamo!!! ¿Cómo estás aquí, selima me dijo que te habías ido?
Cariño, sí, me había ido pero ahora estoy aquí, respondió su madre.

Su madre había preparado el desayuno y le pidió a Samantha que la acompañara. Samantha estaba tan confundida y curiosa al mismo tiempo que rápidamente se sentó al lado de su madre lista para hacer más preguntas. En este punto, su madre ya sabía lo que iba a empezar a hacer preguntas, por lo que rápidamente le aconsejó a Samantha que no hablara mientras comía.
Samantha decidió entonces no decir una palabra, por lo que tuvo que comer lo más rápido que pudo. Rápidamente llevó los platos al lavavajillas y volvió para encontrarse con su madre. Tenía tanta curiosidad por saber cómo es que su madre estaba en su casa *** (en este punto, estaba más preocupada por su madre que por su amada hermana) ***. Así que mamá dime qué te pasó, porque Selima me dijo que tú y papá ya no estaban, entonces, ¿cómo es que estás aquí? preguntó Samantha, porque quería saber qué estaba pasando.
Mientras Samantha aún esperaba que su madre le diera una respuesta a su pregunta, vio lágrimas rodar por las mejillas de su madre. ¿Qué pasa mamá? preguntó Samantha pensando que había dicho algo malo.
Nada Samantha, solo recordé esos días cuando teníamos a mamá y papá aquí con nosotros.
¡Qué! ¿Acabas de decir mamá y papá? Samantha dijo con una gran carcajada, acababa de recordar que Selena tenía el poder de transformarse en quien quisiera. Ambos se dieron un abrazo muy fuerte y solo tuvieron que llorar un poco más por lo mucho que extrañaban a sus padres.
Such a good twist, I thought it will be dramatic but it turns out to be fantasy with a touch of humor.

Yes it was a really special gift to Samantha, her sister is her best friend and almost everything. Seeing her mom made her speechless but there was just this thing in her that made her calm and it might be the bond she and her sister shares, who knows?
