Jason is a bit angry, nothing new really. That's been his usual mood for several months now, although he's good at pretending that everything is going great for him.
Nothing could be further from the truth.

Jason stands in front of the door and knocks twice, the house belongs to a friend of his and he is there for some sort of meeting. Gary, his friend's name is Gary, and the truth is that he doesn't really feel like being in that meeting, but ok.
After waiting for a while, Gary, a dark and burly man, opens the door. He smiles, showing how glad he is that Jason is there.
Jason tries hard to fake a smile, not so much because he doesn't like Gary, quite the contrary, but because he really doesn't feel like being there.
If he did, he'd stay home all day watching TV, cutting his nails, staring at the ceiling or waiting for his girlfriend to say something to him to do.
His girlfriend, Daria, whom he loves so much and the person who has power over him, even more than he has over himself.

Jason shakes his head to get his mind off it.
-Are you all right," his friend asks worriedly.
Jason thinks for a moment-I'm fine, I just kept thinking about something.
-Oh, I see. Come in, everyone will be happy to see you.
Jason, still smiling, goes in to greet the others.
There sitting and talking are Steve, William and Billy, who make up Jason's group of friends along with Gary.
They all see him and smile.
Billy gets up and goes over to him smiling, to give him a hug-I'm glad you came, we used to get together more often, now you hardly ever hang out with us.
-Yeah, well, it's about time, don't you think?
)
Jason sits down in one of the chairs, and trying to clear his mind, starts chatting with his friends.
As he chats with his friends, he ends up realizing that he really missed out on a lot of things. Catching up, having a good time, laughing at his friends' jokes and silliness, it really feels great to forget about his problems for a while.
But good things don't last long, unfortunately.
-Jason," Gary speaks to him, "how is Daria?
Daria, Jason's girlfriend, whose name Jason tried so hard not to bring up.
-Daria's fine," he replies dryly, not really feeling like bringing up the subject of his girlfriend.
-From here, I can feel your enthusiasm," Gary jokes, though Jason doesn't laugh.
-Yeah, well, she's fine.
-She must be keeping you very busy lately, because you hardly ever come out with us or go out for fun.
Jason is starting to get irritated, how odd, he's usually very good at keeping his patience.
-Hey, Jason," Scott says.
-What's the matter?
-Why don't we all go out for a day with Daria? It'll be fun, she could even introduce us to the twenty guys she's cheating on you with.
This makes Jason very angry, so much so that the pressure of his hand breaks the glass he uses to drink wine.

Without thinking, and without measuring his actions, Jason throws himself on top of Scott, totally out of his mind, hitting him violently, while tears of anger flow and his friends rush to separate them both.
-Jason, stop, stop, stop," Gary shouts in desperation, trying to talk some sense into his friend.
As the others rush to try to bring order, Jason starts crying inconsolably and yelling strange things.
-Do you have any idea the things she does to me, that you can come here and tell me she's unfaithful to me?
That surprised Gary and the others, what did he mean by that, what does Daria do to him?
There's something weird going on here, there's no way Jason would get like that because he didn't like the joke.

Jason está algo enojado, nada nuevo realmente. Ese viene siendo su estado de ánimo habitual desde hace varios meses, aunque se le da bien fingir que todo le va de maravilla.
Nada más lejos de la realidad.
Jason se para frente a la puerta y la toca dos veces, la casa es de un amigo suyo y él está ahí para una especie de reunión. Gary, se llama su amigo, y la verdad es que no tiene muchas ganas de estar en esa reunión, pero bueno.
Luego de esperar un rato, Gary, un hombre moreno y corpulento, abre la puerta. Este sonríe, demostrando lo mucho que le alegra que Jason esté allí.
Jason se esfuerza por fingir una sonrisa, no tanto porque le caiga mal Gary, todo lo contrario, sino porque en serio no tiene ganas de estar ahí.
Si por fuera, se quedaría todo el día en su casa viendo televisión, cortándose las uñas, mirando el techo o esperando que su novia le diga algo para hacerlo.
Su novia, Daria, a quien tanto ama y la persona que tiene poder sobre él, incluso más de lo que él tiene sobre sí mismo.
Jason agita la cabeza para dejar de pensar en eso.
–¿Estás bien?–pregunta su amigo preocupado.
Jason piensa por un instante–Estoy bien, me quede pensando en algo.
–Ah, ya veo. Pasa, todos estarán felices de verte.
Jason, sonriendo aún, pasa a saludar a los demás.
Ahí están sentados y conversando Steve, William y Billy, quienes forman al grupo de amigos de Jason junto con Gary.
Todos lo ven y sonríen.
Billy se levanta y se acerca a él sonriendo, para darle un abrazo–Me alegra que hayas venido, antes solíamos reunirnos más seguido, ahora casi nunca sales con nosotros.
–Si, bueno, ya era hora, ¿no crees?

Jason se sienta en una de las sillas, y tratando de despejar su mente, comienza a conversar con sus amigos.
Al charlar con sus amigos, termina dándose cuenta de que realmente se perdió de muchas cosas. Poniéndose al día, pasando un rato agradable, riéndose de los chistes y tonterias de sus amigos, realmente se siente muy bien poder olvidarse de sus problemas por un rato.
Pero lo bueno no dura mucho, por desgracia.
–Jason,–le habla Gary–¿cómo está Daria?
Daria, la novia de Jason, cuyo nombre Jason se esforzó tanto por no sacar a flote.
–Daria está bien–responde a secas, de verdad no tiene ganas de tocar el tema de su novia.
–Desde aquí se siente tu entusiasmo–bromea Gary, aunque Jason no se ríe.
–Si, bueno, ella está bien.
–Últimamente ella te debe de tener muy ocupado, porque casi nunca sales con nosotros o para divertirte.
Jason está empezando a irritarse, que raro, normalmente es muy bueno para mantener la paciencia.
–Oye, Jason–le dice Scott.
–¿Qué pasa?
–¿Por qué no salimos todos un día con Daria? Será divertido, incluso ella podría presentarnos a los veinte tipos con los que te engaña.
Aquello hace enojar de sobremanera a Jason, tanto así, que la presión de su mano rompe la copa que usa para beber vino.
Sin pensarlo, y sin medir sus acciones, Jason se lanza encima de Scott, totalmente fuera de sí, golpeándolo violentamente, mientras las lágrimas de ira salen a mares y sus amigos se apresuran a separarlos a ambos.
–¡Jason, para, detente!–le grita Gary desesperado, intentando que su amigo entrara en razón.
Mientras los demás se apresuran a intentar poner orden, Jason se pone a llorar desconsoladamente y a gritar cosas extrañas.
–¡Eres un maldito infeliz! ¿Tienes idea de las cosas que ella me hace, como para que vengas a decirme que encima me es infiel?
Eso sorprendió a Gary y a los demás, ¿qué quiso decir con eso? ¿qué es lo que Daria le hace?
Algo raro pasa aquí, no hay forma de que Jason se pusiera así porque no le gusto el chiste.
