Why Is This So Difficult?

in Writing Club3 years ago

I don't know if I'm alone in this boat, but planning for me is so easy. The part that is difficult is the execution

Let's take for example writing. I have lots of ideas, lots of things that I could write about but it's still so darn difficult.

I could write about how I started to read again romantic novels because I got awesome business idea, or write reviews about the video games I'm playing or just put the photos over here that I have been snapping.

But no, I'm not doing any of those things and I honestly don't understand why.

It's something to do with the execution itself that seems to be the step where I just stumble on my face, definitely not lack of about the one thousand ideas I have in my head running around endlessly.

One thing that I'm killing though is my HBD savings, I'm so close to 100 HBD that I might have it together next week and it makes me so pleased.

Maybe I need to challenge myself what comes to writing? Would that lead to burnout or not?

Perhaps I just need to test it out and find my rhythm.

I have a backlog of things I want to post here but I haven't gotten to them for any number of reasons:

  • Some things take precedence over others;
  • Time;
  • Some concepts are easier from idea to publishing post;
  • I forgot what I wanted to write about.

If you can't publish the blog post you really want to publish, it may be better to just publish something-- not crap, but something of interest which is low-effort for you. LikeTu is good for this since the post is truly a post and pays accordingly if anyone upvotes the content.

Sometimes ideas come from reading through comments. One the light bulb is lit over your head, that's when you have to write.

Execution separates the achievers and doers from the planners and thinkers. We just have to find ways we can execute better.

Very valid points! It's sometimes so darn difficult even when it should not be
