RE: Mort the Shit Manager: ''The Sacking of Brent"

Thanks @jlinaresp, I fear this may be the last 'Mort the Shit Manager', at least for a while. They are tough to write, around 4 hours each, and my inspiration is getting a little dry.

I find this type of writing difficult and if I don't laugh at my own work, then it's not good enough.

Sort:

Well, I hope you come back soon!... It's a hilarious series!... But it's always good to take a break and get inspired...

Sure, I guess it must be something that requires a lot of effort!... I like to write a bit (I'm pretty bad at it, but I do it anyway) and believe me, the satirical humor genre is something quite difficult to develop. .. You've done excellent, you have a natural talent I guess... Let's hope that Brent, Mort and company come back more crazy and hilarious then!... And that Brent does more of that dandruff thing, he's too good when he does it! ... 😂😂😂

Thanks man, you keep me going on this theme. I don't think many actually read it, which in turn makes me think it's not good enough. It's the lack of comments vs the Urbex stuff I write which tends to be more popular.

Damn, but it's because your #Urbex post is the apotheosis of the bizarre, witty, and brilliant... Also, that bunch of photos of abandoned places look like the works of a crazy and tormented Picasso!... That's very hard to see overcome!... I imagine that this is why so many people expect, read and follow this content more assiduously... It is simply too good and addictive!...

"Mort the Shit Manager" is somewhat more "exquisite" (so to speak) so the number of readers for that more refined humor may be less or perhaps less likely to give feedback on the post...

Anyway, it's an excellent thing to appreciate!... Have a great afternoon and go ahead with whatever you decide to do... It'll work out!...

Note: I barely read/write very basic English (I'm a retired and obsolete systems engineer and my English comes from a bunch of IBM, Oracle and related manuals... And from my need not to get fired for barely speaking Spanish! ... ) So I apologize if from time to time I write something crazy or not understandable (Deepl and Google Translate seem to be as lost and incoherent as me sometimes)
